- Well this is it... we have come to the end of the road!
After 32 days on the road and one episode more than the scheduled 13, the second season of Just To See How Far It Is wraps up here!
And what a fitting way to end things than a truly unique and special wild camping experience at Schotia Safaris Private Game Lodge just outside Port Elizabeth. Thanks to Justin and the Bean family for making this possible.
We had some proper mileage to cover to get there though - leaving Semonkong, Lesotho with an overnight in Queenstown before rolling into Schotia for our final night.
Thank you to all of you for your support, for watching the series and especially for the incredible comments and messages I have received. It took us long enough to make the second season happen but for us, it was most definitely worth fighting for - what a truly incredible adventure!

Lesotho was amazing - definitely going back and like you, would love to see it in winter BUT I think that place can bite you if you not experienced or traveling alone - the beauty lies in its rawness.
Another great episoode now fin. That old lady did u well, really not many issues and well behaved too. Well worth the ride. And just to be clear, im talking about the car. Thanks fir an epic season. Looking forward to the next. Keep safe guys
Haha had a proper chuckle - I had an old lady and an old goat on this trip! 100% about the Pajero though - hopefully it encourages people to look at more affordable ways to access the overlanding world! I would never want to convert a new car or my daily driver. Thanks for joining us and for all the messages along the way...

Seeing you all go is like losing my favorite compass, seeing places I'd never thought of going. One thing I learned is that adventure is just a flat tyre and a cold beer away. I loved this series as much as the previous one. Hope you return with a third.

Nice video, beautiful countryside. Would the main tar roads in Lesotho be OK for doing a Lesotho roadtrip in my Polo TSi_ 3 or 4 days
Thanks so much for the kind words! For sure your Polo would be good for the tar roads - mates of mine do amazing classic car rides in Lesotho because the roads and scenery are just spectacular! Obviously check your routing and make sure your trip is on the main tar roads because you definitely don't want to be on a beautiful road that ends in dirt!!!!
I agree Marius - we are all so sick of these attitudes ... it is so unnecessary.
