Still hate the fact that they make her an emotionally immature, she was supposed to be the big sister, the one everyone can rely on, and her journey should be about leaning to trust her friends and accept help from others, but she is still awesome, and is my favourite character out of all of them.

well she is still developing as a character in the series so lets just wait till the seasons progress
It's more interesting to look at character development. In the first season, she is just a child who is afraid of her powers. In the second season, she is calmer and understands her powers better. Well, in the third, she has matured a lot, controls her powers, calm and reasonable. I think in the fourth season it will fully comply with the canon.

I've noticed that the more control she gets, the more purple her powers become. They had up to no purple highlights when the show started.
Probably to show good since pruple is technically a lighter shade of black

I mean sure there are some REALLY dark shades of purple but that doesn't make purple a lighter shade of black.

I notice she's shown much more variety in her powers in season 1 probably cause she hasn't learned to control them in the entirety of it. It was more emotional impulse. I hope we get to see her work on her other abilities
It’s awesome seeing the journey she’s went through, she was so scared and almost defenseless (per se) in Season 1, and now in season 3 she’s confident as fuck. Unexpectedly, one of my favorite character growths to watch

i agree every time i say anything about Rachel people come at me about how powerful she is in the comics and they need to learn the writers of titans are not going to make her op they will give her limits ...proof of that is when she tried to absorb the Lazarus pit she was only able to absorb a tiny bit of it .....i hope season 4 show more Rachel and the Lazarus pit and more magic things and Ras Al goul as the big bad of season 4

Yeah I know that but the fact that they are trying to make him a Teen Titans villain just feels a bit weird...I mean there is nothing wrong with it...but the fact that Ras al ghul is very powerful and has access to multiple lazarus pits really just seems a bit too much for him to travel all this way cause of just ONE lazarus pit in Gotham City...I think he has a whole lot of other things to deal with then fighting the Teen Titans over one lazarus pit in Gotham City even if he did have a plan there...Ras Al Ghul always has a backup plan

The effects they chose for her powers are definitely unique but Im not a fan of the liquid shadow. Especially when it came out of her mouth. In the future I hope they use more fiery or traditional energy based effects.

The effects they chose for her powers are definitely unique but I’m not a fan of the red liquid shadow Especially when it came out of her mouth in the future l hope they use more fiery of traditional energy based effects.

Agatha's is (was?) completely borrowed from the Darkhold - she just didn't know it.
Her 'black magic' is her innate power as a child of Trigon (an Old God).
Much as Wonder Woman has her own power set as a 'child' of an Old God.
Only Raven is much more in tune with her magic in non physical terms than Wonder Woman ever was as far as I can see owing to her training with Constantine and the fact that Wonder Woman channeled her godly power into strength and speed.
Kinda miss the dark vibes of her powers in season 1

If look closely, you'll notice that her darkness and the TK are the very same. The darkness is the visual manifestation of the TK that is her astral body in motion.
Raven deserves better CGI and more screentime to show us the possiblilities os her wreak havoc magical powers.

I’m not gonna lie I’m really disappointed in this interpretation of raven. Ravens soul self is not some disgusting looking liquid goo the most accurate portrayal of her powers is in the animated teen titans. Her power is unbrakinesis she has access to darkness and shadow manipulation like the shade from dc comics. She has mastered the dark part of her soul and mind which enables her to teleport levitate and character fire shadow bolts. They just merc her character in this show

I’ve just realized something. I wonder if they took inspiration from Mephile’s powers from Sonic 06 since his shadow manipulation/umbrakinesis was goo as well basically. Or maybe it’s just the low budget and it’s cheaper and faster to do mostly a fluid simulation then a smoke one.

I think at times they potrayed her pretty good. In live action I love how dark she is. Her powers are partly from her fathers Demon side so I love how they like showed it. She wasnt the best in the show but she still wasnt done too bad

that's all coming in season 4 because she was unstable and still learning in season 1-2 and didn't really have time for it in season 3 but azarath metrion zinthos was really for only spell book incantations IDK if shell even have a spell book.

Dont really know about the spell thing, but for the cape, I like it but at the same time I like her current costumes a lot more. She went from a child with no home in season 1 to a young lady in season 3, so the costunes they give her really suits her
The teen titans cartoon was the only raven incarnation where she constantly says Azarath Metrion zinthos she was also originally created as a magic user...
She did wear a cloak in season 1 that was kinda similar to her Raven cloak

I would say power increase since the the lazris pit is considered dark magic. and Raven does do dark and good magic. but also emotional connection do to her connecting to the fear of the pit.
