    We were in Dublin in December for three days (not enough time) . Guinness storehouse is AMAZING, If your a beer nerd YOU MUST. (Yes Guinness tastes MUCH BETTER in Dublin ! ) we spent 4 hours there 🙀. Another pub worth the trip is "grave-diggers" outside of the cemetery, and rich in history. It is one of the oldest in Dublin, they have some awesome food and pour perfect pints ! #heveninaglass

    Hi I like your videos guys. But I have to add that it's a shame to not mention that almost all our museums and galleries are free. And that a trip on the Dart to the coast line is a must. To see places such as the Martello tower in Sandycove, to eat fish at the harbour in Howth and feed a seal lion that has learned to wave at people (greedy cute bastard), to see the windmills in Skerries. Dublin is so much more 😗

    Dublin also has the largest public park in Europe. You can start your walk in Phoenix Park from the centre of Dublin and walk in the beautiful grounds until the park meets the countryside outside Dublin.

    • @tomjohnston1220
      @tomjohnston1220 Před 3 lety

      When you walk through the park, you will see herds of wild deer, a huge zoo, the palace where the President of Ireland lives, the gardens are full of sculptures, and also the residence of the American Ambassador, which is as big as the White House. And talking of the White House, it's architect was Irish and he also built a house in Dublin, that looks exactly like the White House, BEFORE he built the White House.

    I used to go to secret raves in the Guinness Storehouse put on by Guinness. You'd ring a phone number and they'd put you on the guestlist for you and three others. You'd enter the building and they'd have a string quartet playing. No charge for the cloakroom, tokens for free Guinness and when you'd get upstairs to the top floor they'd have someone like Mushroom from Massive Attack spinning the tunes. No advertising for it, absolutely amazing to be bopping to tunes in such an amazing venue, for free with such top talent playing. Dublin is a quality city.

    Templebar is too crowded, if you want to go to a more traditional pub you should go to the burbs

    To all the people who have been to Dublin, how many days would you say are needed to fully see the city? I’m hoping to go there soon and want to plan my trip correctly 💪

      no more than 2 days. Bring enough money because it's very expensive and do not expect anything like other European Capitals in terms of monuments

    There isn't much to visit in Dublin but you missed the local parks like St Stephen's Green, Phoenix and the hidden Iveagh Gardens. In general, when you arrive to an Irish city they encourage you to go visit something outside that city and this tells a lot about how much there's to actually visit.
    it's sad to see that Dublin city centre became a shopping center and a meeting point for drunkers instead of highliting the few historical sites. For non-europeans: do not expect anything like Paris, Rome, or Madrid in terms of monuments
