- following fault code are shown in Chevrolet optra 2005 petrol varient,
P0342-powertrain camshaft position sensor (A) circuit low input (bank 1or single sensor),
P0341-powertrain camshaft position sensor "A"circuit range/ performance (bank 1 or single sensor),
we try to show how to fix above fault code in this video., and also how to check cam shaft position sensor and wiring also.

@@IgniteMoto tried today to check as per your direction.
First checked the Neutral using battery native terminal with connectivity test. It was working good.
Then checked 5V, it was also good. Then checked for 12V, that was also working perfectly.
Then removed the CAM Sensor and connected with pin and checked the voltage from 5V pin, initially no value. And then touched the sensor with spanner, and got 5V.
So, in the check all 3 pins were working properly and sensor was also working properly.
Then cleared the error P0342, using OBD Reader. After switch off the engine and start agin, in few seconds the error coming back.
What will be the problem, are you able to guess?

Hi bro, I have Optra 2011, it throws the code p0342, I have changed battery, changed the camshaft position sensor, checked all wires all of them are good and changed the starter motor but still it throws the code, it really has made me tired, can you advise me please, do recommend if I change the dephaser pulley? Thanks

So what was the fix ???
