      I test drove 2 S5's as well, coming from a 16' WRX also driving my buddies 2015 Stage 2 M4 and riding in a 14' RS7 that was also stage 2 and riding in a CLS63 S AMG, into a luxury "performanceishhh" Audi It was quite a surprise, the S5 (Sportback for me) didn't look like it would feel sporty and cockpity on the inside after I got in it after looking at it from the outside but boy was I wrong, it felt even more cockpity than the S3 I sat In afterwards! a MUCH better car imo, the interior is amazinnggggggg it drives reallyyyy nice, steering is superb and the ZF 8 speed is not underwhelming either! My eye Is currently on a White S5 Sportback with red interior >_> XD hoping the 2019's comes down in price as I realllyyyyyyyy want the Black Optics package lol chrome is ugly af.

    Ok. First time watching one of your Vlogs. My heart is with GM. I've owned a 1988 Corvette Z51, a 1991 Corvette ZR1 and currently own a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. I also love Audi. I loved my 2001 S8 and currently own a 2013 S5 cabriolet Prestige. They were/are both so fun. My little supercharged V6 really (333HP and 325 torque) comes on when you want it to but it's docile enough for my wife to drive around without fear. She doesn't even know what a supercharger is. Haha. Thanks for the Vlog. Merry Christmas! Subscribed!

    Great review! I’m probably going to be in the market for one of these in the next year and have a question. How does this thing do in snow? I’ve been a midsize suv driver living in Minnesota or Wisconsin my entire adult life, but since getting a Q5 in 2017 I’ve heard from fellow Audi owners that the Quattro is just as great in the snow for sedans as their Q lineup. I’d love to move out of an suv if it’s viable. Hope you’re still loving this car!

    • @vtestdrive
      @vtestdrive  Před 3 lety +1

      I own a 2019 Audi A4 which has Quattro. My family also own different types of Audi’s (including a Q5). The system is exactly the same and does an incredible job in very heavy and deep Canadian snow. The only major advantage to SUVs is the ground clearance, but I’ve never had a single moment when the Quattro wasn’t able to get me out of a snow bank. If you go for an S5, you will not regret it. It’ll most likely be my next car once the lease on my A4 is up! Thank you for the question and hope I helped in your decision. Cheers

      The S5 and C43 (which I reviewed on my channel) are quite close in comparison, but I believe the S5 is a bit better for a daily driver on our ‘’amazing’’ montreal roads! On the other hand, the RS5 is on a whole other level, and so is the price point. If you can afford one, I believe it is the better choice.
