Why oh why have I overlooked these guys for so long? I'm a melodeath guy through and through but also like me some high quality tech death as well. Allegaeon seems like a perfect mix between the two genres.

I love this album. Allegaeon have become one of my all time favorite bands
Its hard to find a band that impresses me these days. Just so much quantity but very little quality, as far as bands in tge whole metal genre in general. With that being said, I just found these guys an hour and a half ago, listened to this album from start to finish, and I am very very impressed. I am now driving down to Zia Records to purchase this cd so i can have a physical copy. Then I am going to check out their other material. This album is just awesome, really don't have any complaints. Well done, guys.
Be sure to listen to their other albums as well. They are actually better in my opinion.
Be sure to check "Accelerated Evolution" from Fragments of Form and Function. One of my favorites.

My favorite has to be The Algorithm; the whole song feels so epic. I get chills every time I hear the line "yes, I can hear you". It just conveys the feeling of that moment so well to me
man I randomly found these guys the other day. How i nthe fuck are they not more well known? Melodic, techy and brutal is one hell of a mix. I can't stop listening to all hail science, it is such a catchy track!
Album of the year for me. Technically great, diverse, cleans, screams, growls, I mean we even got some flamenco in there! Love it!

This band is simply phenomenal! I was so glad to see their set ahead of Ne Obliviscaris and found them to be one of the best non-headlining acts I'd seen in years! Their atmosphere and overall presentation, not to mention their actual music were awesome! Just a perfect blend of sound! I hope these guys get some serious press soon!

So, when i first heard these Titans..mouth agape , I was an instant fan . Always a fan of Metal flavored metal..they are pristine .Truly otherworldly.I had no idea this entity of absolute genius and purity of lyrical form could exist. It is a beautiful and terrifying thing to behold.I was born in Cleveland Ohio. Now living in Florida .No dates for a show here on this tour. I will be at the July 30th venue in Columbus..if i have to ride a dragon there...fly on my vacuum ..very stoked. Insanely ..

Like the new Insomnium and Vektor for example (biggest contenders in my opinion). Or some more obscure stuff such as Vale of Pnath's II, First Fragment's Dasein or Cthe'ilist's debut all of which are amazing. Speaking of obscure, there's the new Obscura (forgive the pun), and there's also the new Revocation or if you're into the more melodic stuff, the new Solution. 45 is also great. Also praised by many is Ihsahn's Arktis. And there's more still. And keep in mind the year isn't over yet, there's three more months to go. So yeah, you might say it has some competition, though I'd say it's up there, definitely top 3 for me.

This is the most likely to win for me. But who knows, there's a quarter of the year to go, maybe Terminal Redux grows on me more.

Easily one of the single greatest, original, true Metal bands that's ever been. i could listen to this particular album for breakfast, lunch & dinner. This band almost cant & shouldn't be defined. They exist in a class and genre all to themselves. The sheer talent, intricacy & layering is nothing short of incredible. I can't remember the last time a new band emerged and absolutely floored my ears and mind from track one to the very end of the record; evolving and exploding with a musical genius and possibility that's actually achieved and delivered... Not since Tool have i found or heard or experienced such pure and energizing fire and fired-passion in music. Allegaeon is easily the new standard of what metal and rock & roll should and can be. They've raised a bar for music. For Metal.

Caleb Hohneke Fleshgod is also my all time favorite extreme metal band. I just discovered these guys. Intro song reminds me of Marche Royale so good.
i saw Fleshgod live the other day, and while i'm not a huge fan of their style, they do an absolutely amazing job on stage

All of my top 21 favourite releases that year deserve some major credit; from Aborted, Enblood, Revocation and Slugdge to Rivers of Nihil, Cryptopsy, Amorphis and Irreversible Mechanism.
Awesome ! Not often heard such a versatile album played at such a techncial high level.
Hearing a poundin' cover of Subdivisions was not what I expected when reaching the end of this album, but it's a welcome surprise! :D
The Algorithm is extremely epic. Definitely my favorite out of the 3 parter

The only thing that gives me ASMR is good music, especially loud and in a live setting. All these soft talking vids are surely relaxing but I never get tingles.
I can't believe it has so few views. I've never heard anything better and I don't know a single band whose music is getting better over time.

Holy Thor, I've just found my new favorite band! its the perfect combination of orchestration, heaviness, technicality and darkness for me.
This album is a guitar junkie's wet dream. Holy fuck. "Of Mind and Matrix" has some of the best composition I've heard in a long time.
Metal Blade is doing something right, I suppose... I found this and I like it so much that I decided to order all 4 of their albums (until a couple of days ago I had only heard a couple of songs from them).
These guys have everything I could ever ask for from an amazing metal band...melodic, heavy, technical, amazing lyrics and vocals. Please keep it up guys. All of your hard work shines in this album. Soooo f*cking good!!!!

Those guys have their heads up their asses when it comes to top 10 lists, last year they just put whatever new album came out from their favorite old bands even though 2015 had allot of great music coming from newer bands.

First, I'd like to thank Metal Blade for sharing this. I've been a fan of Allegaeon for several years now. I have all of their cd's except this one (I will be rectifying that shortly). Despite the personnel changes they've undergone over time, they've remained consistently excellent. Good jobs guys - great album!!

Of the 'modern; death metal bands Allegaeon are the very best. Elements of thrash, great musicianship, variety and distinct. My very favourites - Shadow of Intent and Fallujah the next and also super-duper!

I love all allegaeon albums, but imo this one is their best so far! Saw them recently live in Vienna - that was a killer show! Easily one of the best concerts I attended to (although their playtime was sadly a bit short). I truly hope they keep up their great work!!!

Cognitive Computations at 50:17 through the solo til 51:31 will likely go down as one of the highlights of the album. Of Mind and Matrix (23:05) and The Arbiters (53:33) also have my vote in the top 3 best songs of the album.

I know no album is perfect. I listened to an interview with Burgess and he even expressed some regrets about how they could have done better, but DAMN! This album is about as close as it gets! I guess you gotta love that about musicians, they are their own worst critics. Burgess said they always feel like they can do better. Well.....I can't wait to hear their NEXT album then!
This album is amazing and one of my favorites. But you should check out a band called Be'Lakor especially the album Stone's Reach. Only other band that I know that can match allegeaon composition.

Mlizar Be'lakor are my other favourite band atm. I recommend listening to their albums from the earliest to the most recent. Stones Reach first. Then Of Breath and Bone, then finally Vessels. They just get better and better. Allegaeon is the best technical death right now and Be'Lakor is the best melodic death metal.

I first heard of these guys when i saw they are going to be touring with Ne Obliviscaris in the fall of 2017. They kick ASS and I am now looking forward to seeing them live as much as NeO!
I blast this album start to finish during roughly 1/3 of all my photo shoots (though admittedly, I start every shoot with that music video you did on the beach) So good!!
