Tradition Two: Our Group Conscience

This is exclusive content for our patrons and CZcams members. I will attempt to post one video a week on a Tradition until we get through them all. I'm reading from the 12x12 and commenting along the way. Please feel free to add your comments as well. I would love to get your thoughts on this tradition.

There are groups who form a handful of service members that run the group the was they see fit… learning your traditions helps keep AA meeting healthy and allows all members to have a voice

God works through the members in the group conscience there is members also that would charge the twelve steps and twelve traditions to their own understanding the twelve steps and the twelve traditions is working since Alcoholic Alcoholism started nothing has to change just except the program

Your group sounds dead mate we have people queuing up for service it sounds like your members don't understand tradition 1

That's great that your group is doing so well and is involved in service. The group that I was attending is still meeting and doing well, and they have elected trusted servants at the group level. I am no longer attending meetings there, but as far as I know, they are not involved with service at the District or Area, but they are far from dead. I can't quite remember what I said in this video, but I am sorry if I gave the impression that my homegroup was dead because it has always been a very lively active, and fun group. Far, far, from dead.
