Wow...i have never seen a DEVE on a boat before, or even an hydraulic. Unusual. It's so sad that DEVE doesn't exist anymore.

Hey, that's funny, I've been in both places in 2011 when I was on vaction in Hornbeak. What I remember of Helsingborg in Denmark was the large amount of liqour stores to cater the swedish customers. They seem to have very high tax duties on anything alcoholic in sweden, that it's cheaper to buy the liqour in denmark. Helsingborg has quite a nice railway station.

btw, do you know the town Horsholm? It's close to Birkerod (Copenhagen area). It's got a shopping center called "Horsholm Midpunkt" (next to a kulturhus that's got a round shape).
My nice lives in Birkerod (married to a danish since 2000), and I've been there 3 times. The carpark/shooping center in Horsholm has (in 2010 at least) a Otis Series 1/ europa 2000 elevator with a round shaft.

dykodesigns2yt Yes i know Hørsholm and the buildings you talk about. The round building is called Trommen (The Drum) My grandparents used to live in Rungsted which is very near :)

Heritage Elevators yes, the Trommen. That's quite a nice building, I love the interiour architecture of it, with it's concrete waffle ceiling. I have photo's of it on my picasa album somewhere. The concrete waffle ceiling is a two way spanning slab that's only supported by columns. Sometimes these columns have cones to prevent punch shear. (You know I'm a building/structural engineer).

I haven't been in that building for ages. Hardly remember how it looks like in there. Maybe i could go back and try to film the elevator.
I hope the Otis Series 1 is hydraulic, maybe even with DEVE hydraulics like OTIS did in Finland

Da jeg var ombord på M/S Hamlet i 2008, så så jeg at elevatoren havde kone m series knapper. Der må være en forskel på elevatorene på Hamlet og Aurora.
