So basically. When changing courses to an unrelated course we have to have 2 full years of study to meet the study requirement. And we have to lodge a new student visa (before the current one expires) to complete the new course in time?
    Is that correct?

Thank you, now there is so much talk about Travellers to Australia with out any Vaccination Retriction since it was a nnounced by the Health Minister on the 6th July 12:01 am. Could you update us on the recent media restriction of travellers again. It's becoming unpredictable. Thanks.

if i was doing bachelor of it majors in digital enterprise in australia only And now changing college and doing it to bachelor of IT without any majors in different institution. and got 7 units credit out of 8, so my 92 week requirement will be counted from my previous institution or not because in new institution duration will be 87 weeks after credits.

Hi Karl, thanks for your video. I have a question about changing the course. If I studied Master of IT at A uni for 6 months(this study may result in postgraduate certificate), and after that I changed my course to Master of Computer Science at B uni and received one semester's credits and continued to study for the rest of the 1.5y. In this circumstance, am I eligble for 485 Visa?

Currently I’m studying master in education at unsw, the length resigistered in CRCOSS is 2 years, but I have got 24 transferred credits and the length of my study time in Australia reduced to 1,7 year as a result. So, am I still legit to apply for 485 visa, thanks!

Hi Karl, I would appreciate some guidance. I am about to graduate in M. ENG (Mechatronics), but wanted to transition career to Software Eng. What are my chances if I work in software engineering (i can) throughout my 485 (starting 2023), apply for student visa at the end of 485 for another Masters of IT to satisfy ACS's suitability criteria. I am looking at 80points for 190

Hi Carl.. I have a friend studying Bachelor of Nursing. However, she couldn't support her studies anymore so she decided to transfer school and course. The problem is the University is not releasing here as she haven't complete 6 months of studies yet.
Do you know what she has to do?

Hi Carl Thanks for your videos, I do have a question regarding the 485. I course a Diploma in Building Desing and then a Certificate IV in Residential Drafting in that order, due to a TAFE misunderstanding. Is possible to apply for the 485 as I am meeting the study requirement of 2 years full time, it was 99 weeks in total. Thanks Heaps

Hi Karl! Your videos help so much. I know this is a late comment, but I would like to ask your opinion. I began studying for a bachelor of science for 2 years and then moved to a different university within australia to study accounting. I received credits and transferred units of 1.5 years equivalent. Im about to graduate with a bachelor of business after studying for 1.5 years. Am i eligible for 485? I just need recognition of extra semester from my first uni studying bachelor of science. Although the degree is not related, I studied accounting units as well in my first uni. However, there is a 3 year gap between the two.

Hi Karl, appreciate your informative video! I have one query which I hope you can find an answer to. I enrolled on a 2-year master's program (92 weeks), however afterwards I received advanced standing credits of 0.5 year. Therefore, although my course is registered as 92 weeks, I'll complete my study in 1.5 year only.
Am I eligible to apply for 485 postgrad visa?

What if you are changing your course from Master of Technology (Business Analytics/ERP systems) to Master of Business information systems? They both are very related. Both degrees make you either business analyst/system analyst/ project manager. They are very related to each other. Will still there be any problem?
