The story here is especially the failure of the other parties to differentiate themselves from one another, and to actually solve problems.. There is broad group think in German politics, esp. throughout Merkel's years and again in Scholz' three-party coalition. The reality is, if someone disagrees with some aspect of official immigration policy, climate/energy policy, or economic policy, they have for years had nowhere to go. The AfD mainly only has to say that "the emperor has no clothes" and "offers no alternatives" on x, y and/or z.
They don't have to do much more, just wait as the broad, uniform coalition government makes errors.

"hard right"....who are you kidding? When the AfD get called hard right it just shows you how hard left the other parties are. I've read the AfD's manifesto and it makes perfect sense. The AfD looking after Germany's culture and security.

The total commitment and dedication of the AfD will be the political and economic salvation of Germany and most of Europe.
