- I've had a few people ask me about doing a more detailed video on the camera so in this video, I run through the features and updates I have made to the camera. I after seeing a couple videos and chatting with a fellow box camera builder, I decided to implement a contact printing system to be able to invert paper negatives and develop everything in-camera.
To read more about the build head over to my website for some details and pictures:

I'll try to get a proper mic, next time around.
I have a lot of respect for Agfa quality. I've used their papers and chemicals for years ( since the early 80's) .
I was not aware of this system but I love it.
This camera is a beast! Very well done!
Thank you for the video, super nice the light system for the draw... what kind of light did you use to be able to create this system? Thank you so much.
Beautiful Afghan box and great video demonstration. I really need to put the finishing touches to my camera and use it more. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks! And I hope you do!
I'm working on a new camera for 2021. A little bit of a mix of designs intended to shoot 8x10 as well 😁
@@loncle.bonkle Sounds good, hope you make a video showing it off. Good luck!
This video was really fun and I learned a lot. Keep it up ❤️
Excelete trabajo, me encanta tu cámara, saludos!
Loved It!!
Nice job man, I like it. the use of the drawer slides instead of the typical rod system looks nice. I do have one question... What are the overall outer dimensions of that beast?
I think you could do some wet plate with it, maybe not 8x10 but I bet 5x7 would be possible, its basically a field wet plat dark box with a lens. You would probably have to add an armhole for poring the developer on the plate, then you could do a rinse and then bring the plate out to fix it.
Cheers! overall its 40x40x75cm
I could have been a little more conservative with space, but I wanted to have more room to move.
Probably wont be figuring out the wetplate stuff for awhile, but, yeah like you said its within the realm of possibility
