Thank you so much for posting this. Once again the gorgeous Matthew Macfadyen speaking so effortlessly and articulately about his role as the 'middle' era Logan. God I love him and would recommend Any Human Heart to anyone to see - just fantastic. I cried at the end when Logan died (played by Jim Broadbent).
I followed it for some weeks, enjoying the diary of man`s life, waiting for the dramatic punch..which just never came. Nice as a visual blog, lots of nice women and stylish period scenes, but at the end, it felt aimless. "What was that all about?" I asked myself.

Matthew's personality is truly amazing ... there is his assertiveness, cute, gentle, warm, but there is also his shyness
