Bro I got Himalayan fork gaiters installed from RE service center but they are causing the suspension to be stiff. I can feel that on slow turns where the suspension should travel inwards because of breaking.
I think this is because himalayan gaiters are bigger in size and provide resistance to the suspension being compressed. Also they trap air. I can feel that on speed breakers the air exiting the covers and this trapped air provides additional resistance to the compression.
I’m thinking of installing hunter 350 gaiters instead.
Can you please confirm which one are installed on your bike and if you feel this difference while riding as well?
The reason you mentioned is so obvious. Hunter's gaiters may be a better option, I used normal 41mm fork gaiters which was made for thunder 350. Working fine✌️
First check with RE hunter's then after market.
I also visited RE for himalayan gaiters but they said this is not a good idea. That's why I tried after market.

U can use fireball back handle bars to solve nuts issue and try out diamond cut tan seat cover from sahara seats

Clip on handlebar will change the comfort. They are designed for this bike. The bike is for comfort
Dark brown seats cover look good with matte black meteor, as well as black seat cover. Both look good.

One question, What was your experience using Mag or alloy wheels to ride to Khardungla? Was it sturdy enough to withstand the shocks and bad roads?
Spoke ones are more comfortable as they provide extra cushion on bad roads but alloys are also not bad if your bike suspension is not so stiff/hard.
As per my experience Alloys performed really well and I don’t find any issue🤞🏻

I feel who has so much time to get the bike laminated again and again its best to enjoy the bike for three to 4 years and then replace it with new model.. though for some bikers it matters the most.. i love the bike too i own it but i feel after 3 years you satisfy your bike love and aim for new ones 🤔

Limitation is not recommended at all . I faced issue where in summer season limitation got stuck completely to tank and impacting paitn😢

Rishabh bhai, as per RE this is a performance engine and generally performance engine don’t come up with kick start. If in case there is an issue related to self start then you can easily start this bike by applying 2nd gear (by pushing).

Sir, when i asked about the fork gaiters for my meteor 350, they said its not available for that model.. so can you tell me fork gaiters for which bike model with fit in meteor? Thunderbird or classic? And most of the shop in my locality dont have fork gaiters, wish i could order from somewhere.. if you can help me out, i would be very much grateful to you
Sir, I brought these from royal bullet accessories world karol bagh delhi, you can visit their website/youtube channel and order the same. These are normal fork gaiters for 41mm telescopic suspensions.

Bhai petrol se saaf karwaane se matte paint kharaab hota haii... it's written in RE user manual.. kehte hai ki petrol bharwaate huye make sure petrol tank pe na gire .... petrol se tank saaf karna detrimental nhi hoga for matte paint ???
Hota hai agar petrol se rubbing ki jaye, petrol yaha gum ko htane k liye use hua hai then dry cloth se saaf kiya hai, petrol ko saaf nhi kroge and usse rubbing kroge to damage dega..and ye regularly nahi hota to no issue bro✌🏻
