Thanks cam im going to be building that $30 press thanks for all you do for us noobies man it does not go unnoticed Youre the man Much love
Yea man it super easy to make.
Soon as you mentioned conspiracy theorist and ammo I thought ok this guy is cool! Love your videos, your hilarious
I really like the home approach videos lately. They certainly add a nice creative flair for the folks that don't have tons of equipment. However, crossbow. That was my favorite part, and Gigi of course. Stay positive in these times Cam.
I like crossbows.
Ha! Love the crossbow. Great video! Stay safe and healthy Cam and Fam. 🤘
Thank ya Jamie you to.
You are one of my idol in screen printing man! Shout out from the philippines❤💪👌
Awesome video man! Monument Limited has been printing everything for my brand since we launched last year. They have the highest quality. I really trust Cam/team with every project and they answer my million questions!
Thanks jefferson you are the man.
Maannnnn this was this video I needed! Appreciate you 🙏🏽
Congrats on reaching 100K subs!
@1:37 “DoNt WoRrY aBoUt Me, I’m A LiTtLe NuTs” 🤣🤣🤣 that one resonated
I'm a little nuts! Love it haha. I did message your company web site about a week ago.
I don't know why the "hot as shit" part was so funny to me. But it was. I played it back 3 times. But I appreciate your videos. I had equipment 12 years ago, and got rid of it because it was my ex-Husband that figured out all the idiosyncrasies of printing. I was easily frustrated by it. Now information is way more readily available.
By the way...GREAT tutorial!!!
Hey Cam, I really think your videos are very helpful.
I am doing heat press now but wanna get into screen printing.
What's the learning curve like?
Hey Cam dude. I always enjoy your videos. Just wondering if you have got a video on the history of monument Limited, and how you got into the field of screen printing?
I wanna see how you built to platen!!!! I’m going to search for your channel for a vid on this; I really hope to find one! Full of lots of great info though - SUBSCRIBED! Thx Cam.
Good information Cam...👍
Thank you sir
Great video Cam. A lot of smoke but like I said before, "smoke is good" one way to know that the ink is getting cure properly.
Yea dude I needed to lower that pallet.
Bolt white is by far best low cure white ive used on automatic and manual.
Hey Cam, I'm wanted to know what type of shirts you were printing on with the poly ink. I always look forward to the tips in your videos and have definitely learned alot.Thank you.
Hey Cam, I'm glad you started posting more frequently again, keep the videos rolling.
Are you still using the 50 watt led unit to burn your screens? I just picked up an old 35x48 vacuum unit that works, but thinking about upgrading it to use led.
Yes sir it still works like a charm.
Hello! Instead of using a flash unit, can I use a manual heat press? and what harm it can make if you flash it more than the standard time?
Thank you! Your videos are great btw! :)
One stroke is in my opinion the best super low cure ink, if you have a small dryer one stroke is the way to go, it's really expensive, but if you're running an auto with a small dryer, it's the way to go.
Is it that expensive? How much Is a gallon of red?
Thank
Fantástico video un abrazo desde España Málaga el guru de la serigrafia
Great video! Where did you get the attachment for the flash?
Hey cam.. your show is awesome.. I'm just starting to learn screen printing.
How can a new printer find clients?
great stuff. so with the quarter: do you want the screenmesh itself touching the MDF or like, the screen frame pushing down a little past the edges of MDF so the screenmesh is overly flush? Thanks for all the content.
Sorry if this has been addressed in previous videos but I am super new to the screen printing game. I was wondering how do you know where to put your logo on the screen, (before burning) so that it puts the logo on the shirt the correct distance down from the neck or for a corner logo (chest pocket area) ?
Or do you just place the shirt down and move it on the pallet accordingly to print wherever the logo needs placement?
Thank you in advance.
Most relatable quote ever 1:37
Hey man, do you have a blueprint for that single press? Thanks a lot.
Hi Cam, curious, is there a way to make a homemade flash unit as well as the $30 press? Love your videos, soooo honest and full of knowledge.
A heat gun is you best bet.
Do you have video showing how to build press
I truly wish I would of had this video in the beginning of my printing business. I did basically the same thing but you made some tweaks that would of made it faster. I used my ironing board instead of cutting the wood differently. Thug life I guess?!
Haha we all been there baby. Thanks you for the comment.
hey man cool stuff .. what paint are u using?
Nice.. Question, where did you get those T's? Love the quality and what ink do you use?
What do you think about using heat guns if you dont have a flash heat machine?
How do you attach the silk on alluminium frame,,,easy diy style?
I have a 16x20 heat press could you just let it hover to use as a flash dry?
You rock
Hey Cam. I noticed that there was a bit of smoke when you were curing the tee shirt. Was it to hot or is that normal. Thanks for the videos.
Do I need to make the design bigger if I go from shirt size s to shirt size L or can i use the same screen?
What type of ink will you suggest for t-shirts?
Hi! What kind of Ink are you using? ?
how many items can you usually make with a quart of ink ?
Where can I find the other screen to flash?
Sir can i have the video of ur diy line table
If you don’t have a flash what would suggest using? Thanks for the informative video
You cx an use a heat gun, but those thing take forever. I would try to get a used flash if possible, try craigslist.
Crossbows fan myself
They are awesome, I want more
If you have a lesson on printing plastic bags
Thank you Cam! How would you cure a water based screenprinted t-shirt if you don't have a flash dryer or a belt driver...or anything really ???
im pretty sure you can just use a heat gun?
Hey Cam, awesome videos. I am learning a lot to start my home business. I saw on your Amazon shop there is a waterproof film roll, what exactly is that used for??
Also, I don't have a flash dryer but I do have a heat press, can I use my heat press to cure a shirt?
You use water proof film because the non water film has certain problems in 2005 I tried regular non water proof and it wasn't consistent, so it had a tendency to expand when printed halftone dots were bigger, but lines overlapped. The chemical composition of waterproof film keeps that from happening. Flash units don't come into contact with the shirt like a heat press, so you use a heat press, you need contact paper, it will look nice if you keep it from looking shiney, but real screen printers won't use it because it takes forever and a lot of things can and could go wrong from the press to the heat press. We used them when we had problems with fibers sticking up looking rough and needing to be smoothed, but you need to have paper that gave the print a matte like finish
I have never tried that, but I have heard people do it. The water proof film is for making transparencies with your inkjet printer.
Thanks guys. ok that makes total sense about the roll. I used the heat press the other night to make my first shirt. The shirt came out ok, a bit of ink getting all over the place, and somehow I missed a pin hole even though I went over the screen 4 different times. lol I think I did too many passes with the white, and my image came out not as crisp as it was the first pass. Although that could also be from the crappy 1 station press I have. But, I hit it with the heat gun and it look good for shirt # 1. Then I used the heat press...bad idea. Think I needed to wait longer for the in to cure more, but some stuck to the Teflon sheet. All this is a big learning curve, but a very fun one. It felt really satisfying after making my first pass with the white. So more to come. Fun stuff I think.
One question I was screen printing my black T-shirts’ using tan ink (international’s coating) but for some reason when I print my first one there was not enough ink then when I did it again it look like too much and kind 3D. Why is that
Yea that I'd a common problem, if your ink is to built up try using a higher mesh count.
I wish, I had seen this before I purchased a yudu machine off of ebay.
Hi Cam ....Awesome ...Brutal video....Nice Hunting Tool......
conspiracy uffff Man great Topic.. Here In Capera we got a Gamo swarm fox .22 ..Only NUts or Lokos oNly......About our print life here NZ I will tell you we are Lockdown for 4 weeks, so far it has been 1.5 weeks .....Few jobs on though. Man just going to kick off today printing Long sleeves Tshirts but I have found one issue with the thunder (including my old carousel) is I cannot print direct onto the forearm of the sleeve as I cannot get the sleeve right down to the end of the pallet due to the thickness of the pallet arm if you know what i Mean= any ideas will be kool and very well appreciate!!!!! So far the way i gonna tackle this job is using Transfer ..About Transfer do you mix the ink with the fine powder? at the moment i been testing it..... Catch up Later I gonna get busy before i get nuts or my wife put a boot in my bum!!!!!!!!!Happy Print Life....
For sure the slide style brackets make it impossible to loan a long sleeve with thin sleeves, for sure load through the next, other than that action engeneiring has lift pallets made specifically for this problem check them out.
@@ThePrintLife thank man I gonna check it...... 3 week lockdown so far so good. The nice thing is we still busy few jobs pop up more long sleeves to print lol different customer... plus one halftone nice graphics to work on it... Again Cam thanks for all you info this week I been checkin You video about Wordpress plus Elementor our website need son 21 century Cosmetics😅☠😎
cool beans
Hey Cam, if you were starting off would you go with Anatol or M&R? The Trilock system looks like its very helpful for beginners.... Is Anatol cheaper to get started with then M&R? Thanks in Advance. -Freddy
Anatol makes great manuals and autos, their service needs some catching up, mr is a US industry major player their manuals and autos are over priced but service is the best. If I had to buy a manual, Anatol would be up there, auto my money money would go to MR, but before MR I would buy workhorse sabre, the price is good and the service isn't as bad as Anatol, the user interface is awesome their only problem is the cheap tablet running windows. I hope they got a better tablet but if they don't take out as much unneeded software as possible to keep it from glitching. MR software suck but it's dependable and everything is built to last. Always maintenance manuals and autos, well everything really.
I love the anatol thunder, I can speak for any of the automatic presses. I think you should get quotes from both manufactures and play them against each other on price, and get very clear delivery date commitments.
👌👌👌
Is there any chemical that make plastisol fully cure Just by heat gun, cause most of us DIY people dont have flash dryer, or maybe you can make experiment video with oven or preheating with stove and heat gun
Ya a video
I'm confused why multiple coats of the same color?
great video cam awesome content thks is jessie still at the shop
We are on hiatus for obvious reasons, but yes he is still here.
@@ThePrintLife cool jessie should make a video cam when hes back
homie bought a whole cross bow 😂
Conspiracy...YES!!!
It's a mess.
Got to wonder why it's a fascination when we have lost more people from the FLU in the USA last yea,r than the COVID in the world
What was the brand of ink you was using? You say low cure.
Yea It is called OneStroke.
👍
Hey cam how is the quarts flash doing i been wanting to buy one
The Chinese one is out of commision, it overheats. I think if you pull the temp controller out of the body it may be ok.
@@ThePrintLife thanks man
Hey Cam, where did you get the flash curing pallet?
That one is built from random crap off amazon, but there are purpose built flashes, try vastex
The Print Life custom amazon crap is the best kind of equipment thanks for the reply I will hunt around for materials... appreciate the video as always. Stay safe!
@@betweenthestars let me know if you locate it.

The Vestax and one that is available from Ryonet are like 3-4 dollars after tax and shipping. Here is one that I found for $100. I just emailed them to see if it would work for my Ryonet flash unit. if the link does not work the name of the supplier is neverthelessscreenprintingsupplies (dot) com.
