Do you guys have any embarrassing stories from your job??
"I feel embarrassed about my poor English skills, which often results in my boss having to correct my spelling daily🥲🥲🥲
I want to study with you
My colleagues at the hospital tried to match me with patient, who came to our emergency room because of health problem. That was so embarrasing.
@@maile9280 😅
For me, I would like to share that it was the time when I worked for a Japanese company but the leader was a Korean man. We spoke English in working and as a friendly way in speaking English, I directly called him "DK" (because his name is Danny Kim, you know, the contraction of calling a name is common in my former Korean company). And I was very embarrassing when I received a Skype message from him that said "I'm not a your friend, so you should call me "DK san"" (it's a Japanese calling way for more polite). I was just 😅 this face and replied to him "yes, understood... DK san"
So my lesson is regardless the language you speak, in speaking moment, you should be careful for the company, the nation, or the culture that you are in, thanks for reading!

Most of them, on each of, with a, ....
Thanks for sharing such stimulating stories, mate.
Hope you've recovered 100%.

I also had a story when I was a server for a small stall in a supermarket. When the customer ordered rice with fried chicken leg rice with fish sauce. The cook saw that that chicken leg was bigger than the normal ones and then she tore off some of the meat from the chicken leg and of course, it was no longer intact, and looked like someone had eaten a little bit of it. When I served to the customer and gave it to them. I was so embarrassed although the customer did not tell anything to me. However, I saw she still felt something pretty wrong here 😅😅
Thanks!
Much appreciated my friend!🙏
Omg your chicken wings story sound so cute🤣💕💕 I know that feeling sometimes when u have to face with somebody good looking 🤣✨
Really enjoy your video🤤✨ Thank u so much
I think you should make more videos about your journey to become an English teacher in Vietnam, why did you choose Vietnam for working?, how can you speak Vietnamse very well?.... I think it will be interesting!
Vụ bị lừa ở vn cũng có nè thầy 😢 nhưng em thấy ở chợ hơn tạm hoá
Thank you so much for the videos. 🌸🌸🌸
But, to me, I think Vietnamese sub is really, really useful. There are lots of ways to study English, but to me, seeing a word's meaning not only helps me save time but also makes me not be confused about the Vietnamese meaning of that word. I think it is suitable for people who dont have a lot of time
Exactly! The videos are meant to be as convenient and useful as possible. Thanks for your comment:)
Hearing the part "oh, do you still want it?" made me die laughing. When you were young, you were so cute 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Carter!
,✍️✍️✍️🍭🍭🍭😂😂😂
Hi Carter, thanks for your interesting stories that help us a lot in practicing our listening skill!
By the way, may I ask you a question that why the way you pronounce the "the" is different from US & UK?
You spoke /ði:/ for most of the time (maybe for emphasizing), but "the owner" you spoke /ðə/. I was quite suprised, is that a Canadian English? 😂 Please help me clarify, cheers!
can you make video about in the work ?
❤❤❤
Học in lít❤❤❤❤
🍀💪🏻
love
👍
hahahha, i really interested the third story, like me when i was second-year student ;vvvvvvvv
🥰
What is your job now, my teacher?
🤩
❤❤🎉.
tôi chữa bệnh điếc đc r:)
You're Canadian?
Is that the reason u come to VN?
Oh no, don't remove Vietnamese sub plzzzzz
I think that with Vietnamese sub, it's so so helpful for me. I can understand whatever you talked. Moreover, I can save a lot of time to look up all the new words
Nah Im bad at english
Dài quá, 5 phút thì đẹp
Hey Carter, hopefully you can read my email I just made today and sent to you
Actually, I have an embarrassing memory like you twice times also. But I am different with you, it happened when I was =))) around 25 years old. It is called quick change (scam) artists. They gave me 500k vnđ to buy my flowers. I gave them the balance amount. And suddenly, they wanted to change to another bill. And I gave them their initial bills. OMG, it happened so fast.
Cảm ơn thầy ạ
Thanks!
Thanks so much!!
