Powerful starting sounds of CNG-powered MAN A21 Lion's City in Erlangen and Nuremberg

From my recent trip to Franken, I present to you some distinct start-up sounds:
1st bus; MAN A21 Lion's City CNG (NL 313) | ER-Z 943 in Erlangen (#943) of ESTW Verkehr scheduled on line 287 at Sebaldussiedlung
2nd bus; MAN A21 Lion's City CNG (NL 273) | N-TX 350 in Nuremberg (#575) of VAG Nürnberg scheduled on line 36 at Plärrer

Reminds of old MAN D2566/D2866 and D0826/D0836 engines... The CNG Lion's city engine sounds great on it's own.

0:17 did the driver just Neutral drop it? Also that's such a quiet sounding engines despite the power it makes

I think they rev a bit high after every start and then goes to the idle rev point but it also can be that. They often start with neutral and then put drive
