    The Mariana Trench is located near the Mariana Islands in the Western Pacific Ocean and is labelled as the deepest section in the earth's seabed, stretching approximately 2,550 kilometres (1,580 mi) long and has an average width of around 69 kilometres (43 mi). There have only been two manned descents to the very bottom nearly 7 miles deep of pure darkness. Not only is it a fascinating place and wonder of the planet, but it's also shrouded in mystery. Since so few have been down there, and only a hand full of cameras have recorded the bottom, what creatures live at the bottom is one of life's mysterious. Sit back and enjoy this short documentary of the Marian Trench in all its glory and mystery.

      That's why, when compared to the Mariana trench, I'd have no problem going to space. You can survive if you're space ship has a leak, if your sub has a leak, you're dead. If you're ship is dead in space, there's a chance of rescue, if your subs dead on the sea floor, so are you. You can even survive in space with out a suit for a couple minutes, you'd be instantly crushed in here. Heck, in space you can actually see light from stars, the moon, earth etc. Here, it's pitch black.

    • @cfrandre8319
      @cfrandre8319 Před 6 lety +106

      Inhaler Grandma It’s layers and layers of animal and vegetable detritus that has sunk through the water column and settled; tons of microscopic and unicellular lifeforms, small fish, whatever falls into sea nearby, up on top. Some sand in places where currents stir the sediment and carry it off. The bottom will slowly turn into sedimentary rock.

    I think that someone needs to build another submarine evolved enough to stand the depth with a microphone and a camera and keep it down there for at least close to a month so we can learn more cause this is interesting

    I really like this channel. Many Top XY channels do pure clickbait with trash videos stuffed with ads. But here I barely have any ads throughout the video. Nice channel, nice to listen to voice, nice content.

    To us, when we discover new fish in the ocean, we're like "Wow. A new kind of fish." But then the fish is probably thinking "New? What you talking about? We're not new. We weren't born yesterday. We were born millions of years ago. This is normal for us. Also, if you go a little further in the ocean, you'll find mermaids." but 1st of all, we can't understand fish, & second of all fish are too dumb to know that we didn't even know they existed
