I actually think college gymnastics is more fun and exciting than elites because there is more emphasis not only on team unity, but a greater emphasis on style and presentation. As well as huge fan bases for top schools. It is also great that these former elite gymnasts have a forum in which to continue competing in the sport they love well into their 20s, henceforth having 2 gymnastic careers.
I don't usually watch college gymnastics, just elite, and i've gotta say, college gymnastics is SO different from elite gymnastics. Gymnasts i recognize from elite gymnastics: Shayla Worley, Kayla Williams, Chelsea Davis, Ashley Priess.
I just stumbled over your videos, and I started watching some of the college gymnastics and I got some questions: So, how does the system work? There's the Super Six, which is like the final meet, right? What's with the Pac 10 oder Big 10 (is it the same meet?)? And all those meets like that video here, what's with that? Do the teams compete against each other and the best 10 compete against each other at the Pac 10 and then the best 6 compete at the Super Six? I absolutely have no idea..
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tide roll
College gymnastics isn't about difficulty...hence them not being elite lol College gymnastics is more about artistry, stuck landings and perfect routines.
Personally I find it cute when the girls pull their wedgies and have a smile on their faces...to them, its not like the first time they pick in front of a crowd.
On the other hand, "elite gymnastics" calls (often malnourished and mistreated) little girls "women". Here we see actual women competing. They just take fewer risks.

@cristi0771 Kaitlyn Clark, Kim Jacob, Christa Tanella, Sarah Persinger, Sarah DeMeo, and Geralen Stack-Eaton were also elites.

No, that's named after Dina Kochetkova. Worley had the Onodi to two feet.

Why is there a random couch with people on it next to the floor?
That full-twisting back handspring is named after Shayla, right?

It's so funny how the lady is like losing her voice!! She sounds so funny!!! :P
@Swankdor Most female gymnasts peak in their teens, so the skills should be easier in college.
Geraldine
Lol, i thought this was elite and became confused at how excited they seemed doing routines that they regularly did
no they didn't make the super 6
I guess the Georgia Bulldogs didn't win the championships but they made it to the finals.
