How to make a Miniature Plant with paper: easy DIY Paper Craft Tutorial

An easy and fun craft project, to make a miniature plant you can decorate your space with. We have put step-by-step instructions below, for how to assemble this paper plant.
You will need:
Green, brown and any other coloured paper of thickness between 130-200 gsm
Green felt pens
Glue
Scissors
Pencil
a small bottle cap about an inch in height
Cut a strip of green paper about 7 cm in height.
Fold it, draw a leaf shape and cut about 15-20 leaves.
Using a green felt pen, outline the leaves and draw stripes, on both sides of each leaf.
Cut a strip of brown paper the same height as the bottle cap.
Stick the leaves along it leaving some space between each leaf.
Roll the brown strip, sticking as you go along.
Stick more leaves around the brown base, to make the plant bushy.
Roll more brown strips around the base, till the base is big enough to fill the bottle cap.
Apply glue inside the bottle cap and stick the base.
Cover the outside of the bottle cap with a strip of coloured paper. You can use two colours or printed paper to decorate your planter.
And your mini house plant is ready!
Decorate your home with it, or give it as a gift to a friend to make them smile.
