Hello Professor D, I feel like question 14 was a little confusing because of the way it was worded. The color of insulin is clear(regular) or white cloudy(Nph). Should the question have been what is the universal color for an insulin syringe instead?

Respected Professor,I think macrolides don't have affect on auditory nerve, it's aminoglycosides. I believe the question were given to trick us, as the drugs classification under them sounds the same.
Eg - macrolides antibiotics are clarithroycin, erthytromycin.
Example of amninoglycosides antibiotics are- gentamycin and kanamyin which are highly ototoxic and nephrotoxic.
Therefore I think the answer should be loop diuretic ( eg furosemide) also is a ototoxic.

It was meant to ask about hearing loss, not specifically 8th cranial nerve. Macrolides, especially streptomycin can cause severe auditory nerve damage.

Professor streptromycin is aminoglycosides, not macrolides.

New student: I have a question: if a drug is given through IV so there wont be any factors affecting it through "absorbtion", which we know its not the case why it be any different if its given IM (intramuscular)? How come there's factors that will affect ??
