I've went on a tour with family to the USS Hornet for Halloween. I'm a young spiritual medium, and it didn't go so well for me. Unlike the rest of my family, I had to leave early because I got extremely overwhelmed and exhausted. I was so hyped at the beginning of the tour, then suddenly I was drained. I even saw multiple shadow figures and heard a door being slammed. I'm also very sympathetic, so that doesn't mix well. When everything went downhill, I nearly passed out. When my mom and one of our tour guides were rushing me out, I was crying uncontrollably and was feeling very suicidal. Once when we got out, I was feeling perfectly fine. Even after everything that happened, I want to return. I'm extremely interested in the paranormal so :)
Sounds like you had a very rough time! Maybe look into protections and harnessing your ability before going back! I’m a beginner medium so I can’t offer much help, but I would encourage you to watch Kelsie Davies because she is also a medium!

I haven't been to this ship since I was a year old. My grandfather served as a gunners mate on this ship and I remember seeing pictures of him on it. This video made me miss him but also made me very happy to think back on him and the happy memories.

I went here for my 6th B-Day and it was so cool we didn’t sleepover (I think idk it was so long ago) but we still saw and heard a bunch of haunted things.
