I live on an island in the Caribbean, and I remember when we used to go to beaches near the north of the island every inch of the beach was always covered in plastic of every kind, and as kids, we used to play with them as our parents surfed. As I got older I came to realize how harmful plastic of any kind is, and that the community and the government should have done more to help clean those shores instead of favouring the touristic district so much.
