- In this episode, I meet an aggressive Doberman Pinscher. This dog has a phobia of people on bicycles or skateboards. People make the mistake of using a harness to control their dog, but their owner's tense energy feeds the dogs excited mind. This seems to be one of many problems as to why this Doberman is aggressive.

I struggled to bike with my 2 year old belgian malinois. She’d pull and bite my foot. She tore up the bottom of her paw on the asphalt trying to pull with my hand on the brake. With the help of this video, she’s so much calmer. What helped was the placement of the collar…up behind the ears. Today was day 1 and already a huge difference.

I've had German Shepherds for 40 years. Never had/have separation anxiety issues. My dogs are either crated, in their kennels in my backyard or with me. I didn't know, until recently, that many people think crates are "cruel". WoW!
I have a red doberman, and she is the most precious thing. No barking when I leave, no chewing. She and the other doberman's just wait for me to return home. When I do, the first thing I do is let them go outside, and do their business, then let them back in and hug them. Doberman's are the very best of the best. YOU HAVE TO TRAIN THEM.
Mine is the same, sweet temperament, also a red doberman.
Also ours is fine being home alone, 15 months old. I give her a yummy treat (stuffed Kong etc.) when we leave the house for awhile, something positive and we also keep calm about leaving and returning.

Doberman's are highly trainable dogs, it takes a lot to mess them up. Our dobie mix practically trained herself.
They even have the correct collar but weren’t using it

I've seen Cesar work his magic so many times but nothing impressed me more than his solution to separation anxiety in this episode. He knew the reason behind it. There was no guess work. I'm truly convinced he was a dog in his past life.
I am just impressed how people can hold a dog in one hand while riding a bike. My poor motor skills could never lmao
I trained my dogs saying “going bye bye” “go to sleep” and started giving treats saying “bye bye” then no treat after a few times. If we just walk out the door, they become anxious and cry
lol....i have to tell my critter byebye...(scratch her belly) you be good girl. i'll be back, i always come back for my girl.....she gets her reward when i come back for being good girl aka....my house is intact. the things we do for our critters but we wouldn't have it any other way would we? peace.

I hate when people say things like, I hope this works or we're going to have to put him down/ give to shelter or act surprised by their dogs listening to Cesae. It's Cesar Millan, the greatest people trainer and dog rehabilitater. Unbelievable! If I needed Cesar's help and he was on his way to my house, I'd be saying, Thank God, Cesar is on his way and I will learn what I'm doing wrong and how I can correct it!
It's TV man. Most of what they say is scripted. I am sure some are geniune too. But the "I was so shocked when Cesar was there" when they meet him is fake. You can clearly tell they knew he would be there.

They aren’t as easy as it’s shown on tv they do take abit longer but still great methods
He's our baby first big mistake, first time dog owner getting a doberman second big mistake don't get a dog a breed you're not equipped for
And he’s using a harness for a dog like that you don’t use a harness slip leash is the best or slip lead whatever you wanna call it lol

Don't get ANY DOG YOU ARENT EQUIPPED FOR a chihuahua would do the same thing. Simple research fixes a lot of this.

Good vid. These dog owners really wanted a labrador, or other hunting high energy, human friendly hunting or herding breed. Who would sell a serious guardian breed with a high prey drive to first time owners? Good thing they didnt get a malinois.

Unfortunately, if you look carefully at their last interaction, the owner's face tells you he's not happy at all, which means that they didn't manage to control the issue.

My first thought is man, go get a poodle or something, these people have no business with a Doberman Pinscher! Just another clueless couple that see a dog as a child. But Caesar always SNAP the human's brain out of the fear and shows them the reality of what is possible. I love this part of the show. Thanks, for sharing!

It was a pleasure to see owners cooperate so fully. Sometimes the owners seem very antagonistic to taking advice for what ever reason. I assume some of them are paying well for the help they are receiving to so I don’t really understand their response. I trust my GP to give me good advice and apply that advice to the best of my ability because that is the best way to achieve results. Your successes are freely available in the internet so there is no reason to lack trust. I really love animals probably to a ridiculous extent but it is part of my nature and seeing happy relaxed dogs, or any other animals, gives me enormous pleasure. Thanks for all your videos.❤

Cesar himself said he couldn't do what he done in Mexico. Having friends there, they agree. Uganda am sure has the same type of people.
Most of the time, it's not the dog got problem, but the owners!
Show them you're the boss, you're the master! Correct them at the right moment when they misbehave themselves ! When they're still puppies, if you ignore it, spoil them, even pamper them giving treat or food, that's gonna cause you trouble in the future!
Raising dogs just like raising kids, you, as a parent, has to have the authority over them when they make mistakes, especially when they are very young.

So far, I have never seen any owner on this series correct their misbehaving dogs until Cesar gets involved. Not one time! How do they survive life for more than a day?

I have noticed that all of the owners have the wrong collar on their dog and thus they are unable to control the animal.

the owners of a guarding breed of dog are clueless about basic dog handling and show it...
Make shure your saddle is high enough to stretch the knee. The only difference is you need to stand on a pedal for tuching the ground, but your knees going to thank you over the years !

My 4 year dob learned everything after 2 tries and my rescue DOB mix is the same smart dog. Only problem I have is my dob sucks on my sheets and blankets at night putting holes in them😢 while we sleep together. Giving her a micro rag she sucks and tears them up. Any ideas how to stop it????

He does this on his Caesar is great but have not heard from him yet. 3:55 dog bed and couch also- not just the bed. Gave him toys or rags and they get chewed.

Prong collars are illegal in civilized societies. They cause pain and frustration for the dog.
You need to get some education on the proper use of prong collars. I agree that if you are using one to pull on a dog then that is misuse. They also must be fitted properly high up on the neck and you just give a quick snap to give a correction. Prong collars if used and fitted properly give equal pressure all the way around the neck whereas a flat collar concentrates pressure on the trachea which can cause damage. There is absolutely nothing wrong with prong collars if they are used by responsible owners with certain dogs. They are not necessary for all dogs.
@@cathyulbrich3481 i do not need education for the use of prong collars. They are illegal in the UK. You cannot buy here and you would be prosecuted for cruelty if caught with one on a dog..
