Rubbish can easily be patrolled with drones. They are escorting them across the channel

Love how 2 massive countries with powerful governments and modern technology can’t even stop small boats with 100 people in em

1 of them can but chooses to help them cross and the other could if they didn't see it as career suicide, and didn't have a so-called human rights court blocking every attempt to stop this whilst turning a blind eye to every eu country now suddenly trying to stop this.

      Royal Navy:
foremost naval power for over 150 years, defeating every foreign power's attempt to invade the British isles, and still one of the most powerful in the world, cant stop a few rubber dinghies

Could stop the boats tomorrow, if they had a processing centre in France.

Not true. All those having their asylum claim rejected would simply get on a boat.
All those intending to abscond on arrival in the UK would still get a boat.
      It’s not rocket science ffs.

They could stop it tomorrow if they wanted to without a processing centre.

@@Gambit771 the processing centre stops the need for crossing the channel, at the moment the only way to claim asylum in the UK is to cross the channel

Not true. Those who get rejected by such a processing centre would simply take a boat.
Those who always intended to abscond as soon as they arrive here would simply take a boat.
      Ffs...it's not rocket science.

It's not 150 miles of coast, it's about 15 miles that is actually close enough to attempt the crossing by small boat. The main beaches along this stretch are wide open, sandy beaches, with rolling dunes behind them. They couldn't be much easier to patrol! Feeble excuses!

The only challenge for the French police is to not be caught filming helping the migrants cross.
