Thank you for this! Probably the easiest method I've come across, and also very easy to follow. The only thing I'd suggest for anyone making MOGRTs is removing the CC Glass effect on the 'reflection precomp' - it adds a lot of rendering time without contributing any noticeable visual improvements.

Hi..Im not able to add text..Its showing white line , the text written is showing below..i mean in the layer..But on the screen its just a white line , Could you help me?
hmmm im not 100% sure what you mean. but try changing the colour of your text? could be just the colour is the same as background? :)
@@Animotion1 I did change the color ..But its not working !! Anyways ...I removed After effects completely & reinstalled it , Its working fine now :) ..Btw awesome tutorial

@@mahirjain2672 I found the solution. On the text layer, press the little 3D cube (which you can tick on/off). When you do that, a little box will appear in the buttom of your preview window, which says "Draft 3D". The text should be blue - Press it and you will turn it off. Then you should be able to see the track matte working. Hope i helps.
you could also right click where it says layer name click columns and click modes
I tried this step by step and I cant seem to get that gloss. Thn I tried it with a bold text and I got the same effects as yours. I guess the problem is that the art I am trying to make gold has too thin lines.
Ooooh that's very interesting to know! I think thin font should be able to work too, you just gotta tweak the effects settings more... But in glad to hear you fixed it!
