    Surprisingly good for a 12v tool.

      Kjellski thanks Kjell! This is the first of its kind in its power class. Great bit of kit we can highly recommend 👍🏻

    Thanks for the review. Would have liked to see it with a vacuum attached. I rarely us my present planer without a vacuum.

      It’s a shame the Bosch don’t include the vac attachment and dust bag accessories in the kit abs you have to buy them separately. I didn’t have these at the time of review but purchased them shortly after, the vac attachment works really well

    Looks a good tool. Is there an adaptor to connect a dust extractor?

      Badger Workshop there is indeed, but it needs to be purchased separately from the tool. I’ll be looking to purchase the dust bag as planer shavings go everywhere!

    How good does it work planning endgrain?

    The problem purchasing this one is that it only comes with the bare tool. No battery or charger. I have no idea which battery or where to get the battery and the charger combination. Yeah, if they get it together, I will buy it even though most of my battery platform is Festool, Milwaukee, Makita and Ryobi. This battery platform is really getting out of control.

      This comes as a kit with two 12v 3amp batteries and charger. The dust bag and hoover attachment accessories have to be purchased separately though and I feel these should be included in the kit option.

    Can you attach a dust bag to it

    • @ateliercabinetmakers8661
      @ateliercabinetmakers8661  Před 3 lety

      Yes you can but it has to be purchased separately, along with a vacuum attachment which works very well as I purchased it shortly after the review.

    I doubt you’ll ever use that in the workshop....

      Tom Coulthard I doubt I will either! I have a brilliant planer thicknesser in the workshop which unfortunately can’t come on site with me whilst I’m fitting our kitchens. So that’s where this planer saves a lot of time! 😉
