Love that they are redoing the gauntlet because even I felt some of those wins were a bit unfair/mickey like they would take an hour to decide what game to play and then end up just playing one of the regular rotation games again. I still wish they would do first two members to 7 avoid punishment, that way it stays competitive til the very end and 2nd place can't just rely on first place winning and the Gauntlet ending, you also avoid tie breakers this way and can play more 4 player games afterwards. Ben: At number 1 standing proud and free, Ben has been racing like his country is on the line recently and it's been showing. Marvelous displays of racing this set from him and he established dominance even whilst getting hoed towards the beginning. Ben has finally made the leap i've been saying he could 2. Mark: Consistency is less of an issue now with Mark than before, he could be find near the top of the leaderboards for most races and any time otherwise, he was getting hoed by items or stage hazards. He's getting a lot better with item usage as well, taking multiple mushroom shortcuts, but he's still needs work. Nigga literally held a super horn while getting hit with a blue shell and did nothing. Even so, his skill cannot be denied 3. Dylan: Oh how the mighty have fallen. Dylan secretly signed a deal with the clubhouse and was found racing without holding down the A button for the past few months. Idk how this nigga was trying to convince us that doing that gave him no advantage because it clearly did. He might not be the best racer anymore, but he is still very skilled. Once all these allegations have settled a real evaluation of Dylan's true abilities will be necessary, but he was racing very mediocre this round 4. Leland: GUESS ILL JUST...FALL OFF AGAIN. Leland has been no threat in mario kart for some months now and i genuinely have no idea how he fell off this hard. Maybe he's decided to focus more on his comedic relief role as he is the funniest in RDC, but man, I really miss when leland was one of the coldest in Mario Kart. He'll have to be a dynamic racer and start taking risks on the track in order to tip the scales. 5. Mark: Consistency is less of an issue now with Mark than before, he could be find near the top of the leaderboards for most races and any time otherwise, he was getting hoed by items or stage hazards. He's getting a lot better with item usage as well, taking multiple mushroom shortcuts, but he's still needs work. Nigga literally held a super horn while getting hit with a blue shell and did nothing. Even so, his skill cannot be denied
3. Dylan: Oh how the mighty have fallen. Dylan secretly signed a deal with the clubhouse and was found racing without holding down the A button for the past few months. Idk how this nigga was trying to convince us that doing that gave him no advantage because it clearly did. He might not be the best racer anymore, but he is still very skilled. Once all these allegations have settled a real evaluation of Dylan's true abilities will be necessary, but he was racing very mediocre this round
4. Leland: GUESS ILL JUST...FALL OFF AGAIN. Leland has been no threat in mario kart for some months now and i genuinely have no idea how he fell off this hard. Maybe he's decided to focus more on his comedic relief role as he is the funniest in RDC, but man, I really miss when leland was one of the coldest in Mario Kart. He'll have to be a dynamic racer and start taking risks on the track in order to tip the scales.
5. Des: WAIT HEAR ME OUT...Des has actually gotten a lot better ever since he realized how stupid he was for playing on the switch with the sound off. He was in the mix during most races this session and has displayed solid improvement from his previous sorry days. I wouldn't be surprised if desmond snuck by with winning a day sometime soon if he stays on this pace.
I would argue that Des was a better pure racer than Leland this set.
Mark is the best racer and also the best salesman.
