DIY Folding Outfeed Table with built-in Crosscut Sled - Pt 5

- This is the fifth video about my new folding woodworking workstation. Today I’ll be showing you how to use and build a crosscut sled that can be flipped over so that it can be stored on top of the outfeed table.
This design is perfect for people who don’t have a lot of space available in their garage. It’s also ideal to take outside the workshop and have a table saw, router table and assembly table at your disposal wherever you need them.

Very cool 😎
😮😮😮
The first word that went through my mind was: Masterpiece.
Just watched all 5 videos and bookmarked each plan. I am now rethinking my table saw/ router table setup.
This whole project is just so cool. I’ve already built the workbench, router table and assembly table, and today I’m prepping the outfeed table. I’m the proud owner of The Smallest Workshop In The World; a 4x5ft slanted-ceiling cupboard under the stairs, but this whole system fits inside with plenty room to spare. Wheeling it outside to work is so easy and I feel like I’ve ended up with a remarkably capable workshop that sets up in seconds wherever I wish. Thanks so much for sharing these videos - buying the plans was a no-brainer for me and it’s completely changed my woodworking career. Thank you.
can I see video of your shop?
This is undoubtedly the greatest table saw upgrade build I have ever seen. It is absolutely incredible! I’ve been looking at upgrading my table saw for quite some time. Now I’m thinking that this might be the better option. It is truly a work of art. I watch in awe. 😲🤯👍
The sled/outfeed combo is genius
Again I'm always stunned by the quality of your materials! Common materials like MDF and plywood but you really found and budgeted for the absolute top quality. Combined with your craftsmanship, everything looks so good in closeup!
I love the integration of the cross cut sled into the out feed table. It’s brilliantly efficient.
This thing is SO COOL! I love watching it evolve
Amazingly creative once again Suso! Love the idea of the crosscut / outfeed dual purpose sled.
What an amazing design! I love all the functionality - it will work perfectly for both my basement and garage shops. Thank you!
Paoson, you are a brilliant engineer and one-of-a-kind woodworker! 👏👏👏
this is the cleanest woodworking table i have ever seen, great work!
Your craftsmanship and the quality of your constructions make them stand out. Congratulations!!!!
Lots of excellent ideas on this project, even if not building a copy of it. Good job!
I am astounded by your level of ingenuity.
What an excellent concept for a small workshop.👍👍
Wow! what amazing workpiece I haven't seen such great design and quality on CZcams.
Its honestly a masterpiece.
Wow! Woodworking in its perfection!
Amazing work. Your skill and descriptive videos are full of information and great work.
Amazing design. Well done, sir.
Mate, this is pure genius !!! Best design I've seen (and I'm certain I've seen dozens). It must have involved some serious pondering, design and planning. Well done and keep up the great work.
I don't think anyone can come up with something better and more practical! Greetings from Bulgaria !
This is the first video of yours that I've seen and my mind is blown. Absolutely brilliant! Wow! This was an easy subscribe!
As always spectaculaire, thanks for sharing.
Outstanding work
Simply amazing.
Insane. Absolutely insane. You are on not a new level but a new atmosphere. Dang you were born to do this stuff. David Beckham of woodworking.
This is a stunning piece of design and functionality merged with simplicity. My eyes just kept getting bigger and bigger as I watched.
This is amazing... lots of work went into planning this and it looks and functions great!
Amazing! Now I have to save this video and try remember it next year when I build my new tool shed.
One person commented, "a work of art". I agree, just amazing!
Amazing. It occurred to me that it would be helpful to mount an upside down jig saw module for use as an alternate to the router or assembly table. Small shops would benefit. Keep up the good work!!
the positive side about this design is that you can make other modules to do other jobs! thanks
Great work!
The beast table work bench on you tube brother 🙌✌️✌️💯
Veri compliment. The table is magnific
Excellent work as always. Well done. I will build this since i have a small space.
Wow, I mean.... just wow❣
Bravo!!👏👏👏
Es usted un maestro!
Отличная работа рук, но в первую очередь ума. На моих и ваших глазах родилась классика жанра! Огромное число новшеств, которых я не видел даже в дорогих и брендовых устройствах настольных пил. Браво!! Есть чему учиться! Удачи!
great work, man!
Fantastic! ❤Meister!
I'm just imagining a collaboration between you and Timothy Wilmots - and how badly I would love to see that! :) This is a beautiful piece of work. I will try to incorporate some of the ideas in my next table saw station.
Muito TOP esse projeto. Parabéns pelo trabalho. Ótimas dicas. Boa tarde. Ótimo final de semana. Abraços brother. Falando de

Amazing brother,,
Greetings in Indonesia
Very good ❤❤❤
excellent respect 💪🏽💪🏽👍🏼👍🏼
I'm in love
My toxic trait is thinking i can build this table easily
Lol thats me
Lmaooooo ditto Alex.
Right my ass thinking I'll have it done this weekend 😂😂😂
Danke!
Excelente 👍
Perfect🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👏👏👏
What the hell is even that?! DIY? Looks like the most expensive, luxury woodworking brand kit. : o
The only improvement I could suggest is to motorise the legs, it'd be fantastic to see unfold and fold away again all at the touch of a button 😁
I don't know what I enjoy most, watching you create or the finished piece, you seem to think of everything and in some cases you add multiple functionality with one piece ... not only is this a functional piece, it's also like a fine piece of furniture ... absolutely fantastic 👍
So impressed with both your design and build quality. Do you have a total of hours required to build it all, not including design? Also any idea of cost without your labour.
genius design, but what is your opinion on replacing the accessory cabinet with a lunchbox-style planer? I am wondering if it would be too heavy to store upright and also to lift up onto the folding legs
Whaaaaaat!! 😱😱
Hello, how did you improve your dust collection for your table saw
Amigo eres el GENIO de todo esto. Me encantan tus trabajos. Que material es la mesa negra y donde lo encuentras?
Hola, muchas gracias! Mira esto: www.paoson.com/blog/es/como-modificar-la-sierra-de-mesa-multifunciones-plegable/
this is amazing ! where do you find your hardware (srews, bolts, gear,etc..) ?
Hi, if you go on his website and have a search around, he's has pages with links to every item he uses in his projects. He's incredibly detailed and thorough. Hope this helps.
Great video and great project overall, but if you want to do this part right, BEWARE to do the 5 cut method mentionned at 11' BEFORE YOU CUT THE SLED BASE IN TWO. It's not clearly mentionned in the video and I've lost a lot of time trying to figure this correctly.
I think I’m ready to build. Have the dwe7840, so just a bit smaller…think it’d be better to just shim things up to your measurements or adjust your measurements to fit my saw?
hi Wayne, check this out: bit.ly/45Qoj9h
I was thinking, how is the crosscut slide going to be a outfeed and a slide as well? Obviously he’s going to have to make a removable t track guide.
Then you raise the bar and make 2 so it still works for dado stacks! Genius!
thanks Kevin!
Лайк за инженеринг !!
what materials is used for the top of the table?
Оч хороший стол.
10/10
Where can I find that awesome clamping system?

Will it work with the SKIL 10-in 15-Amp Portable Jobsite Table Saw?
I think so, but I'm not sure. Here you will find more information and measurements: bit.ly/45Qoj9h
@LetsBastel upgrade für gts10xc 😉
what is that black material your using? Ive never seen that before
It's colored mdf.
Have you ever thought about selling your project created in an assembly box (IKEA type)? I would be interested in purchasing.
Great job! What material is the main work surface made of?
thanks! check this out: bit.ly/45Qoj9h
The link doesn't work, maybe because I'm from Russia
try this one: www.paoson.com/blog/en/how-to-modify-the-folding-woodworking-workstation/
Thanks!
Hola.
@@Paoson_Woodworking 👌👌👌
What is the black surface material you use?
It's mdf.
Hi @paoson_woodworking,
Why don't we see the axminster saw in your videos anymore?
Thanks for your response!
hi mate, I will use it again in future videos
@@Paoson_Woodworking Thanks ! I was wondering if the saw had disappointed you. (I'm considering buying one of the two saws you use)
it has things to improve, but like all saws in that price range. Send me an email if you need more information, you will find my address in the footer of the website: www.paoson.com
Inspiring!
The washers you hammered into the sled, what are they called? Please share a link to them.

😁👍
Anyone know where to get black MDF like this in the US?
bit.ly/45Qoj9h
Where do you get black MDF in Canada?
Can't find it anywhere in the US either. This build outcome in appearance is pretty much strictly for overseas woodworkers.
hi mate, have you tried it here? Let me know if it is possible to buy it on that website, to help other users in the US: trinityinnovations.net/product/colored-mdf-panels/
💪🔥👌👍
👍👍👍💯🔥
can this crosscut sled earn money for me?
the miter function of the crosscut sled is not so well thought through, as you can't really cut to length with it, since you bump into the 90° fence trying to cut off more than shown in the video
Crosscut sleds are for smaller pieces I think. If you wanted to cut longer miterd pieces, just use the main table saw. I don't think that it's not well thought through.
God bless you, Sir !
Please read what is it write in Bible Proverbs book chapter 22 with 29 vers.
Greatings from Romania !
I love your work...its very impressive but the one negative I will say is that this black top build is pretty much strictly for people who live outside the US or North America in general. This one feature is what makes this entire build look so attractive. Its like a sports car with a shinny paint job. Take that away and the visual aspect of this build goes way way down. Its a great build...you did a fantastic job...just no reasonable option to have our build turn out this visually pleasing in the end. Nobody from Canada can get it either and that leaves out North America, which I would guess makes up at least 75% of your audience.
I understand your "pain" as I am in western Canada and cannot source it either, but you cannot fault Suso for using materials that he has readily available. Many of the European makers use it too (Peter Millard, Hooked on Wood, etc.).
The closest I go to getting full-colored MDF was a local wholesaler that said they ordered a pallet and after 2 years they had to sell it at a deep discount to get rid of it. Hopefully it will eventually make its way over here but it will take customer demand to make it happen.
In my case I laminated sheets of Baltic Birch with Formica to get a similar dark and light look, not 100% the same, but still looks pretty good. Another option you may be able to find locally is form-ply / pheonolic plywood used in concrete forming or commercial truck and trailer floors.
@@keving8682No...I cant fault him at all...he does great work. I just know himself...hooked on wood and Peter all build these to sell plans. Pretty sure North America has the highest YT traffic by a landslide so a little strange to always (hooked on wood) to make your builds out of materials that we can not find here but yet want fo sell your plans to us. The black material is what makes these builds stand out and why they all use it so much with some only using it. But its a great build and looks amazing....he always does top notch work. Im still waiting for him to build a scissor lift that will slide under a work bench. So much of us have limited space.
hi mate, have you tried it here? I don't know the price of the board but I think you can get it: trinityinnovations.net/product/colored-mdf-panels/
Mind blown!!!! New goal. Thank you @paoson_woodworking!
Where can i buy these black plywood?? @paoson_woodworking
hi mate, check this out: bit.ly/45Qoj9h
Have you ever price checked shipping on this? Beyond a realistic option for Americans - its like having a sheet of plywood shipped to you. Nobody does that. @@Paoson_Woodworking
I'm waiting for comments from US users about that website. Do you think it's impossible for the price?
