- Former NFL player turned analyst turned podcaster Mark Schlereth had some words for Ravens fans backing their quarterback, Lamar Jackson.
Schlereth claims that the two-time MVP should make the players around him better. Schlereth claims that quarterback who has done more with less than anyone else in the NFL should be to blame for the lack of the development for the multiple first round picks spent on skill position players.

The fact that the two times we led the AFC, we ran the ball a total of 11 times in 2 games (and lost both) is on Harbs. But him being allowed to repeat this offenses is on the owner for not making adjustments.

Lamar missed the previous two years of the playoffs due to injury. Let’s look at his performance going back to signing his huge $$$ deal. In his first year he wins the LEAGUE MVP, by basically taking it down the stretch. Blew out San Fran on Xmas night, then drops 56 on Miami to lock up the #1 seed. Now on to the playoffs. He had a great game against Houston with 2 passing TDS and 2 rushing TDS to go with 100 yards on the ground. Not so good against KC putting up only 10 points, 270 with a Td and a costly pick in the end zone. However, if Zay doesn’t fumble the ball at the ONE FOOT line it’s suddenly a 3 point game and then Lamar not throwing desperation pass into the end zone. If Zay scores Lamar has at that point a 2 Td game with no picks and we are down 3 points to the baby goat and dynasty KC.
Anyway.....nobody’s even talking football right now and Schlereth decides to unload on Lamar and the Ravens. Who crapped in his Wheeties this morning? Jeez lighten up dude

That pass between triple coverage wasn't a good decision. However it should've been a DPI regardless. The DB shoved Isaiah Likely in the back to the ground. The ref in the back of the end zone reached for his flag to *NOT* throw it obviously. Last I checked that was illegal. The penalty disparity was ridiculous watchin' the Chiefs provoke a lot of the Ravens players especially Travis Kelce (as the antagonist) who received *ZERO* penalties for taunting. Comparatively; Zay Flowers gets penalized spinnin' the ball by L'Jarius Sneed's head. Reason bein' 'cause he held his leg while attemptin' to get up. Suddenly the refs 'turn a blind eye' on all the Chiefs infractions. Thanks, NFL for assigning Shawn Smith as the head official this was to be expected with his history. Not to mention, the *INEXPLICABLE* game plan the coaches had in that game. Ravens #1 in rushing avg. 5+ ypc in the AFCCG only ran it 16 times. (avg. 32 rushes in the regular season) For more perspective: against 38 light boxes, Lamar threw the ball 37 times vs a Chiefs *POROUS* run defense all season. Who just gave up 182 yards on the ground vs the Bills the week prior. 0-32 on John Harbaugh's watch when rushing less than 20 times. Lamar Jackson is an elite QB during the regular season, but below average in the playoffs. All 4 of his playoff losses were the worst game he played that season. Peyton Manning used to have the same problem (great regular season, bad in playoffs). He eventually got over the hump, and maybe Lamar Jackson will too. In the playoffs they only had an elite defense because Lamar shit the bed. And it's not just because the level of competition increased. They were blowing out really good teams in the regular season. If he has the weapons to put up good numbers in the regular season, then he has the weapons to also do it in the playoffs... but he can't do it (so far).

You can’t blame the Ravens, WR don’t want to come to Baltimore. Plain and simple. Signing Odell to 15 million is proof that no one what’s to come here.
