When I first discovered Reggie, I had to go on a deep dive of his performances to figure out what his real voice sounded like. He had this thing where he almost never used his normal speaking voice for a couple years and it was wild.

What I love about this (and Reggie) is that there's barely any understandable phrases in this song, and yet I know all the words and it feels like I've heard it before.
I love watching people come fresh into this kind of absurd comedy and just be so confused.

This aired a couple weeks before my 23rd birthday. I'd never seen anything like it before. Reggie Watts is one of those people who actually blew my mind with music. Him, John Lennon, Beethoven and Philip Glass

Reggie Watts is the comedy version of one of those images that are designed to trick your brain in recognizing stuff but are actually totally nonsense.
Every time I listen to this I say goddamn to that finish. Love it when Reggie goes all out he can really belt those vocals out when he wants to his range always astonishes me.
