This was one hell of an album. And very few people seem to know that. I don't think that makes me like it more or anything...I just wish everybody could give it a chance.
This has to be my top album by them. It has an atmosphere that just hangs over like a dark cloud but you can see the rays shining through. Hope in madness.
I've been listening to the flaming lips for over 10 years now (just about half my life), and through all of it I haven't ever been so touched or felt an album resonate so well with me than the Terror. Each of their albums has its own unique charm, but I think this is their crowning achievement.
So lucky to have seen this tour. They opened with Look the Sun is Rising, ended with Always There in our hearts with tremendous gold and silver confetti, with Butterfly, Turning Violent, Try to explain and the Terror title track all played as well.
This is my favorite Lips album.. It is an uneasy listen and can bring out phobias and fears. The artwork as well, is beautiful. Such a haunting over looked masterpiece.

This album is an incredible work of art.
A great album along with Oczy Mlody and Embryonic, my favourites to play in the car while driving to work

Terror is my favorite albums by them. Yoshimi and Soft Bulletin are great, but this one for me just hits a sweet spot inside me.
