The magazine's the same, the motion to change the magazine is the same. And has to be it's a mechanical device. But in almost everyone one of them's hand is someplace. The problem I have isn't that one or two things are similiar, it is that so many things are too close together that the argument its ripping off tarkov is clear. Many games will have multiple difference in the same gun, making it stand out more from previous games or competitors. This is more obvious than any other direct comparison.

      @@johnrodriguez7464 I'm not sure if you're defending ABI or Tarkov, but I do agreee many games aren't necessarily making guns a 1:1 copy, the problem is ABI has a lot of guns that are almost the exact same in animation, model and texture to tarkov. Hell even the SKS is very close to the old tarkov reload animation. Too many things look the same, its easier to believe ABI is ripping content from tarkov.

Yes, the AK's handguard is a real object, but what are the chances that two unrelated artists in isolation create the same mesh with identical textures, down to the individual scratches and imperfections in the same spots? Most people don't care about weather ABI stole stuff or not and really they never have cause they never cared that much that BSG had not contacted Glock or many of the other weapon manufactures to use their weapons in-game and as far as we know they still haven't. Players just want a fun game , most consumer want a good product , people buy stuff most of the time not giving a shit about if it's ethical or not. ABI is unlikely to have any troubles cause of the stealing thing it more likely to be effected by stuff like if their servers are bad on official launch , long load times , cheater outbreaks , stale late game , intrusive monetization , if BSG makes big strides to improve EFT or a combination of these things.

    • @SplarcieRS
      @SplarcieRS Před měsícem

      @@phht0568 ABI is watered down Tarkov. On top of it being the same game essentially. You will get cheaters in ABI, just wait. Like every chinese mobile game, the pubg ripoffs, any US game ripoff remade in china, that gets filled with cheaters within a year. ALSO, you can not sue for using glock, h&kn, etc. Well you COULD, but back in 2014 EA cancelled all gun related deals for their game claiming that it was under fair use. These weapons are used in films, movies, books, etc. Games should not differ, hence why EA stopped paying license agreements on these nearly a decade ago. So yes they COULD but they WONT and they really can't, most they could do is send a cease and desist which wouldnt matter even to a US company that would bring them to court over the fair use of their products in a video game. Pretty sure that's why COD franchise had a long deal with these weapons, but also at some point had a bunch of weapons with weird awkward names.

    its literally the 2022 tarkov build... all the way down to shitty recoil that everyone hated after lazer beam m4 meta days. Tarkov and dayz kinda share alot of similar things since they both take inspiration from stalker. But there is a difference between being inspired by.. and straight up Chinatising another intellectual property. You cannot tell (Edit - "Me" ) that ABI and AB arent *Exact* Clones of Tarkov. Even got a woman who sells you meds

    There's no way tencent would do such a thing.

    How many times do I have to make this clear? BSG doesn’t own reload animation

      They created all of their own animations in house. Dumbass. So yes they do.

      Tafaq you mean bruh??? They DO own reload animations made by THEIR animation team. Don't just play dumb like you didn't know every game since forever had different reload animations. And don't just play dumb saying you "didn't notice any TOO OBVIOUS "similarities"
      By your logic, why doesn't every game now use CoD MW reload animations and sound ports? Well _because_ in a real world there exists a DMCA policy, duh

    I dont believe BSG would ever collab with a non Russian game studio. Since they’re pretty hard about being 100% Russian owned and operated.

    Didn't I say years ago, Tarkov is all unity assets? People only just caught on you can buy the same assets and make the same game?

    • @mikedebakker5820
      @mikedebakker5820 Před měsícem +2

      Well Arena Breakout is in Unreal engine so they couldn't have just bought the assets off the Unity store.

      Well be so kind, find _ANY_ Unity store asset used in EFT (And the Kukri knife from Unheard edition is _not_ a UStore asset, it was proven to be otherwise)
