In this week's episode of Whitetail Cribs, we're making a quick stop in Iowa to tour Aaron Warbritton, Zach Ferenbaugh, Jake Heubschman, and Ted Zangerle's home. The Hunting Public's house has been a top request for Whitetail Cribs, so we got in the car and made it happen. Get ready to see some of the bucks they've taken over the years and some dating back to their days at Midwest Whitetail.

You need to drop milkweed and see where the thermals are going behind the refrigerator and only hunt that mouse after cold fronts and watch your entry and exit lol Seriously peanut butter but rub birdseed into it and set the trap guaranteed dead the next day. u need to allow donations to your u tube channel and put up links to click on ......every bowhunter that ever hunted public land should donate at least 10 bucks every Fall because your the best show and entertainment out there.

This is exactly how I imagined their houses looking. Amazing how the most humble guys pump out the best content in my opinion. They’ll be huge in a couple of years.
The hunting public is the real deal, nobody will ever touch those guys
So long as they don't get too big with sponsors or change their production. I'm with you though, what they have done these past couple of years is the best hunting show/channel I've ever come across. Used to think Meat Eater with Steven Rinella was the best hunting show until I came across these guys.
Best eastern show maybe, but they don’t come close to western based shows like meat eater and solo hunter

@@BDJans i like Steven Rinella's show "Meat Eater", but it is more based on teaching new people the basics and also teaching city folk that hunting isnt all shooting.
Absolutely my favorite cribs episode. There has not been a more impactful group on my hunting journey. THP has been a game changer for me. And that’s probably an understatement. Awesome job Exodus!

lmao, these guys are awesome...empty peanut butter jars and trashed rooms - throw a little cigarette smoke from the neighboring tenant just to add to the ambiance and presto, its time to air B & B that joint...use dart gun as needed... I would book a room in a heart beat! great stuff!!
You can tell he is a bachelor looking at his house but having the best time of his life . Absolutely love watching the Hunting Public. They are like most of us who watch their videos.

These guys are living the dream. They are rich in so many ways...I am a huge fan of their channel and seeing that blow gun and recurves reminds me of my youth, I’m happy for them almost to the point of being envious lol. They are young, so much energy, love their jobs and have a tight knit group of brotherhood. Oh, and they are wise beyond their years as hunters and woodsman. Good Luck THP and if you guys come to midd TN this Spring, hit me up and I will put y’all on some birds🙂
To get the mouse Aaron I would suggest hunting with a 200 grain single bevel and setup along any transition lines in your house. But watch your wind.

For your mouse problem, try the bucket of death. 5 gal. bucket, fill it 1/3rd with water and top dress it with sunflower seeds. Lean a piece of 2x4 up to it and let it be.
First time watching. I'm pushing 70 and it makes me feel young. Keep up the good work. I'm still looking forward to my spring turkey and fall whitetail hunts. Take care.

Aaron, take a bucket with antifreeze in it, put a can or bottle on the handle with peanutbutter and duct tape it up... make a little ramp that runs up the bucket, when the mouse jumps to the peanutbutter he will spin into the bucket! Works great!

That was neat to see the cribs. Reminded me of my fraternity days.
To catch the mother mouse, I had to set 3 traps inline behind the fridge, 1 stuck to the wall with bubble gum, and one more perpendicular. Made that little bastard run the gauntlet after failed attempts with 1 trap. They were driving me nuts ignoring the peanut butter bait..had trail cameras running as well.
Also made a "tarantula mousetrap" by routing auto radiator hose from a hole in the floor to a cut out in the top of my pet tarantula terrarium. After the first night I woke up to the tarantula feasting on the 3 small offspring mice : )
A little Tootsie roll on the mouse trap works every time

Peanut Butter drop in the middle of a sticky trap. I’ve caught probably 100 rodents on that exact set up.

I had that same picture as my background on my phone for a long time. And I have that same blowgun. Good luck chasing long birds guys.
You need a bucket with a free spinning object running from one side to the other and put peanut butter in the middle, add water in the bucket, and make a ramp up the free rotating object. Works the best! for catching mice
THP doesn't have time to clean. They're too busy creating the best hunting content on yt.

To get the mouse... peanutbutter with sesame seeds on the mouse trap. Always works for us.
Chew up a tootsie roll and use it as bait on the mouse trap. It will get them every time. They can’t resist it and they can’t get it off. Guaranteed catch and you don’t have to replace the bait

Aaron, get some glue traps for mice. Put them along the baseboards near your hanging Turkey mount. They don’t require baiting.

I've had good luck using peanut butter on mouse traps.
theUZELACs is right but u have to take a small piece off the Tootsie Roll molded around trigger of the trap it will catch them every time

Aaron, an easy way to put a tag on mr. mouse is to set your snap trap and place it nose to the wall, mice always run along walls it gives them a feeling of security. You don't even need to bait the trap they'll run it.
I love how every other person cleans up the there house and they just showed the truth

Aaron your using the wronge mouse traps... they can clean those wire ones off easy. You need the victor traps. They're grey plastic with a red hammer on it. They look similar but instead of exposed bate you put the peanut butter under a little hinged cover they have to lift with their nose to get to it. Once they lift that cover they're toast.

Use a sticky trap. Wal-Mart has them
No, No, No... the best mouse bait hands down is: 1 part corn meal, 1 part sugar and just enough water to make a thick paste. Just make a small amount. Use the black plastic spring traps with wide plastic treadles. Dab corn meal paste on the treadle and it will harden and stick to it. You'll catch them one after another until they're all gone.
+1 for sticky traps.

I strongly believe that Iowa has the biggest whitetail in the country and I think it’s because they don’t have a rifle season

We do, only straight walled casings allowed though.

Thp owes much of their success to dan infalt and maybe even a little to bill winke. I think they are the best act on youtube and are solid examples for any young hunter trying to get into hunting. They take ethical shots, use economical equipment, and hunt like their your average working guy by hunting public land and not worrying about 170 inches or leasing well managed property

So how do I apply for a job with you guys. I'd fit right in. Never owned an inch of dirt in my life so I know what it takes as far as ground hunting with a bow and all the work that goes into the whole effort.
Probably my favorite part about the show is how you guys are just dudes who hunt and stuff. Lol
If you want to catch that mouse, take a half a peanut and wedge it between the trigger catch and the curl on the trap plate. They can't take bites of the peanut without tripping the trap. Works better than peanut butter or cheese.
