Awesome buy, I love my ultrasonic, used them a lot when I was a sterilization tech. Purchased my own for cleaning brass casings years ago. I used it to clean a set of 1,2,3 blocks with also sorts of gunk, just used a small amount of dawn dish soap that time. You'll enjoy it a lot. Thanks for sharing Take Care
Bought the same one month or so ago I got the 10L .Been sick so have not tried it ... cant wait to get back in shop. You can use water in unit and put your parts and cleaner in a plastic jar with lid works just as good and saves on cleaner and you dont have to clean unit as often. Have a blessed weekend Dave
Pretty much the same for me as well, so you're not alone. Pulled my videos because I wasn't sure about CZcams's new polices. However, did upload a new one and will reload the others after some editing. Look forward to your new videos this year. Cheers brother
Welcome back, Dave. My ultrasonic holds 2 gallons and is full of carburetor cleaner. The biggest problem I have with mine is it takes forever to heat to temp. Thanks for the video!
Dave you and I seem to buy the same stuff. I have one that is just like that except for the controls mine are the push type. I have used it for pistol cleaning at times nd it gets the gunk ouf of the hammer and sear area without taking it apart. You do need to remember to remove your Cocobolo grips first. Don't ask how I know.
The ultrasonic cleaners are well worth having around. I have two of them and use them for airbrushes, as well as cleaning little parts and jewelry. Awesome toy, great review.
Hi Joe! What would you suggest as a more affordable cleaner for jewellery? I don't want to pay thousands, it's just for my rings that have intricate designs with lots of nooks and crannies that even Interdental brushes can't get to - but I also don't want to damage the diamond settings or stones etc. Never used one before, so not sure if I need to buy a special solution for them too? Thank you for your advice!
SKF was, maybe still is, selling ultrasonic washers for industrial use. I didn't work with the washers but I think they used different fluid for different kind of dirt. Just E-mailed them and asked.
You can put your parts in plastic cups or thin plastic trays and fil them with the liquid and then put that in the cleaner. Ultrasonic waves will travel through thin plastic and the gunk will remain in the plastic making it easier to keep your device cleaner.....

Gad you are feeling better.. I was hit with the flu right after Christmas and I was down hard for almost 3 weeks (and I had the flu shot). I've had the 6 qt. with electronic controls for a couple of years and use it often in my clock repair hobby. I take my 3 and 4 jaw chucks apart when they get dirty and put them in ultrasonic and they are like new. If you ever want to test how well it is working put a small piece of aluminum foil in it... after 4 or 5 minutes it should have some holes in it.

Get rest. Great channel 👍 just bought one.
Maybe add some rubber under hooks of the basket?
Every so often I drop my glasses in mine, super clean afterwards.
Don't use the ultrasonic cleaner to clean glasses with coatings, it will remove the coating, I learned the hard way.
