Yesss! This is the beginning of Yesung's bias wrecking era and he is KILLING it! Not that he looked bad before, but during the Timeslip era and beyond, he really upped his visual.
And you probably don't remember, but way way back in the Don't Don MV, Kyuhyun actually had bright blonde hair that era. But you're right, since then he's only done dark to brown hair, until this era.

I kinda surprised that you react to these first since both released for different purposes. Korean version was for the pre-release track of 9th album and the Japanese version was for their Japanese album. Also these two were released in different year i guess, Korean in 2019 and Japanese in 2020. I think the reasons why Shindong wasn't get any close up shoot in korean version, because he was the one who directed it, so he must be busy out of camera, idk about leeteuk tho, i was also mad, but we have more shoot of teukie in Japanese version so i am okay with it 😂

Kyuhyun almost never changed his hair colors XD, but as they say once you are out of the military you have to paint it. He colored his hair in so many shades of pastels! It was such a shock!

Leeteuk velvet supremacy. :) He's my bias, yours too? He's worn velvet several times, like here in the Japanese version, and I always thought that it suited him particularly well. I believe the rhythm is a rhumba (Cuban), not a bossa nova (Brazilian). Don't know if it was the rhythm or the choreography that was giving them trouble, but that's why there's no dancing in the Korean version. But it was directed by Shindong, and I almost like a little better than the Japanese version because of the more dynamic camerawork.
It's criminal how this song ignores Leeteuk and Shindong. We barely see or hear them!!

Girl... If you want 'vampire vibe' and visuals, then you should defiantly watch the Japanese version of 'Opera' from 2016. Like seriously. The mv is such a piece but apparently not so well known... Its really really good though! Their outfits, the setting and song... Its like they're actually some kind of supernatural creatures... Just beautiful. And since it's from 2016, Sungmin is still there too 😉 I would dare say its a forgotten SuJu gem... Much like 'Blue world'...
Maybe it's not that well known because japanese mvs tend to get blocked! So we can't react to those eheh But, as I said in one of my videos, I'll watch Opera live and I'll be sharing my thoughts on the mv then 😊

Totally agree with you, the korean version's big failure is the lack of Leeteuk. For me he was the visual of this comeback. Long blonde and blue hair suit him so well. It's a crime we can't see him more with this little ponytail in this MV, he was gorgeous in my opinion.
