This song is from "G.I. Blues" from 1960. I have this movie. Elvis is singing part of the song in German. "Wooden Heart" is based on a German folk song. Elvis was in a lot of movies with great songs & most of them are family friendly.

This represents Elvis’ first movie after his return from the army and his rock fans were appalled to see him this way. He received back-lash from fans who wanted only to view Elvis as a bad boy. Complicating his life, others wanted only to throw him in jail too offensively sexy. Those detractors calmed down considerably after a much tamer Elvis sang in G.I. Blues. The question will always remain…Was Elvis Presley a bad boy, forced by his manager, to portray a less dangerous version of himself or was he actually the good boy who’s earliest music misled the public as to his virtuous self. Although no one can answer this timeless question with certainty, I think the answer is “yes” to both which may be why his life ended so quickly. What a toll! However, which ever Elvis you prefer, one can never deny that both angels and demons seem to battle it out in every song he sings for they all wanted him.❤️
