Be very carful washing screens, Many screens have never been replaced and become brittle and easy to rip/tear washing by hand takes longer but helps prevent damage to old screens, (we as business people do not want to spend all out time ordering and replacing screens)

Used the mop n' towel method at a job yesterday, it was way better and faster than what I've been doing!

I’ve had issue with a pressure washer not having the scrubbing power and leaving the screens with a dusty look when they are dry.
You forgot to mention a screen brush! It works on 90% of screens where we are.

Hey Steveo, have you ever had to clean glass that is behind a security screen where the glass isnt removable from the inside? and the screen can not be removed unless you unscrew the many screws holding it in?
    Thanks for your help!

I just bought a Honda petrol powered pressure cleaner..(you don't want hoses AND electrical cords to tangle up) its a bloody weapon so choose your nozzles wisely.. got sick and tired of washing screens one by one then leaning them up the side of the house (30+ screens) only to be blown over by the wind!! So I utilised the customers patio posts, tieing up a "clothesline" sometimes 15-20 meters long with paracord and literally pegging the screens to it with industrial size pegs. . then you just line em up with the HONDA BOY and blast the shit out of em.. can't blow over too.. pressure cleaners are also great for screen doors that can't be removed.. gets all the leaves out of the lips around the edge making your finished product look great.. can also rope the customer into pressure washing the house prior.. hope this tip helps

I usually bring my own nozzle for a garden hose and just spray them with that? Way easier then pressure washer and it works pretty well

Thanks SteveO, I almost bought the screen washer a couple of weeks ago. Here in Australia 95% of house's need the screens washed. But after watching your vid I'll go with the pressure washer.

I been using pressure washing on screens for years , i just adjust the throttle speed since is a Dewalt 4200 psi I use for multiple purposes or you can buy a ship electric one which is more than enough to wash screens and get moving big screen amounts of screen cleaning

I know this is old but I'll give it a shot. When i do the math dollars for time + results, screens are a serious money maker. When i see this screen cleaner and it being able to blow through 25 screens in 10 mins i start to see a great investment. Frames can be wiped again before inserting and i know all of my customers would be happy. Any thoughts??

Do you charge extra for window screen cleaning and do you also charge extra just to take them off? I had a customer who called me back to clean the screens after she tried going 20$ lower than I quoted and I charged her 2$ per screen to remove and install how ever I didnt quote her to clean the screens. Any input? In 19 and just started

  • @heatherthewindowwoman4835

Yeah I've been debating on getting a screenwasher ora power washer and I agree, power washer is better!

Hey bud did you use soap with the pressure washer? Didn’t look like it. I’d like to try with mine since I don’t care to go buy a brush and bucket like in example A. Thanks.

  • @bmlandmanagementco4981

Since you’re using low pressure from the pressure washer,...It makes me wonder if I can use my jrod tips to clean screens with.

What kind of towel you use? I tried microfiber and it left some fibres behind that were hard to get off

Recycled surgical or microfiber, I prefer Fish scale towels or Unger ninja microwipe for a microfiber
