Mine always lock up on the bottom lever, that let's it turn port to starboard. Taco wants me to send them in for a service that is going to cost about as much as the mount.
talk to them. they have replaced two sets for me now under warranty. It's a known problem. The fix is a starboard shim that theoretically lets the water drain out causing less corrosion. I think this might be the ticket. Regardless these people have been some of the best and most cooperative I have worked with. They really seem to want to do the right thing.

Do you think this mount would work well with a Parker 2520?
I run them on my 2820 charter boat so yes they will work fine on the 2520.
