I’m sure someone’s already explained but just in case. OnlyOneOf was original under BBC and was supposed to debut with the name 8x8x8. (Or at least most of them were if not all). BBC decided to focus on LOONA instead so the boys transferred to 8D entertainment. Just like Go Yujin from produce 48 did. Jaden Jeong is also still their creative director. In the mv, there’s a point where their group name shows up, but the name is spelled 8nly8ne8f. That’s a small reference to their past expected group name.
Hey, can you tell me when their past name 8x8x8 showed up please?! I've watched the mv so many times, but i've never realised the reference.
Weird question but are any of them gay? Just thinking from one of the MVs I've seen. (no I'm not gay, just curious since I don't wanna assume)

The fact that they came out with just as good or even better releases afterwards is such a flex. Sage, Dora Maar, angel, a song of ice and fire and libido are literal pieces of art.
onlyoneof members were all ex bbc trainees and they were suppose to debut last year that was named *8x8x8* and *chaotic by odd eye circle* was suppose to be their debut song!

onlyoneof is such an amazing group that just doesn’t have much attention and I feel as though if they get the attention they could be big. Their songs are so different from any other groups sound and that’s what makes them such a good group. Edit: Jaden Jeong IS a mastermind! He's the creative director both for LOONA and OnlyOneOf. For LOONA at least, he came up with what the group is and how it stands out in the industry, he came up with the lore and storyline, he chose from around 1000 songs per solo for each of the 12 girls, he's in charge of the concepts for comebacks and writes lyrics. I can't wait to see how OnlyOneOf evolves, and I'm sure they'll be in good hands with Jaden.
By the way, one of their members (Love) is the guy in ViVi's 'Everyday I Love You', and most members of OnlyOneOf were BlockBerry Creative trainees and surely know the girls!
Don't forget Love and KB were Kim Lip's and JinSoul's love interests respectively in Woomanna!

If OnlyOneOf makes an amazing comeback, they're totally gonna be one of my bias groups along with ONF and ATEEZ. To be honest, OnlyOneOf is one of the best debuts in 2019 so far. Time Leap is probably one of the best songs I have ever heard and savanna's mv is one of the most aesthetic mvs I've ever seen.

I am very grateful for the birth of Libido, because thanks to this piece I fell into the rabbit hole OOO ...... their earlier songs delight me. thanks to them I found out who Dora Maar was. The more I listen to them and learn more about them, the more I love them. I go back in the time to get to know them better :)

I basically looked up their debut because I'm a fan of E.viewz, he wrote and composed Savanna as well as two more songs on the album, he's this kind of really smooth soundcloud r&b indie singer and I was shocked to see him work for an idol group. So you're definitely not wrong about the songs being plucked from the indie community, I'm sure theres a lot more than the one I mentioned involved. But yeah I just feel like I got the best of both worlds with this debut, I can't even describe how much I love it. I'm really glad you reacted to this!

I was rather disappointed that I had no idea this group debuted. But I'm glad to find out they were originally 8x8x8 that we've been waiting for. And yes, Jaden Jeong knew we'll never get enough with descriptions under their MV title (like LOONA's hehe).
I think their concept is like LOONA's Odd Eye Circle male counterpart. Some parts in Time Leap's way of editing also reminds me of Egoist.

I feel as if "savanna" is a song of them exposing their true colours, meanwhile "time leap" is the song meant to adjust them to the public's appeal...i like both, but "savanna" really is another level...making a debut with such a r&b-ish song??? that's a huge risk to take, i love it

this is easily my favorite release of 2019 and i really didn't think it would, even the 3 b sides that came out already are amazing, especially picasso, they all sound fresh and i can't get tired of them

Don't worry, they've been slowly but surely shaking the foundations all these years! All their videos are beautiful, full of meaning, full of attention to detail. It's a shame there aren't reviews of their entire creative journey! By the way, they had a new video out yesterday!

Hi PD, you probably won't see this but will you ever react to another onlyoneof mv? idk maybe you have on patreon but they are truly such a wonderful group and their music videos are incredible. Sage, Angel, A Song of Ice & Fire, Libido and Suit Dance are all so fantastic and I would love to hear your thoughts on them. The group has been going through a lot these past several months but they are coming back strong and are really deserving of some attention
they have been working with a lot of the same producers so they have a consistency but also they did 2 mini albums where they worked with new producers each song. a few of the members have been working on the songs since the start but now more and more of them are creating music, all of them working on songs for the produced by myself album.
definitely second this!! they truly have been growing as artists with each comeback, it's so great to see. also, if you liked time leap, i think you might also like their single 'mono'!

Please consider reacting to their more recent stuff too they're so good and they just came back with SeOul Drift from their SeOul COllectiOn album. I also think u would rly enjoy their undergrOund idOl series as it depicts 3 different queer love stories with 2 MVs for each story. There is one solo for each member of the group and they're all really good. They really are so underrated and need more recognition!!!!

So I came back and found this reaction after seeing PD in the comments of an OnlyOneOf video (I never knew they reacted to this!)
And I have a few comments:
- They do produce their own music! I don't know if its all of it, but Love, KB, and Nine are all heavily involved in music production for their group's music and activities
- They choreograph a lot of their dances! Rie is in charge of choreo and is assisted by members Yoojung and Junji
- PD please check out their newer tracks! You never made a reaction to Sage, their first comeback. Their newest one (dOra maar) does not have a music video but I hope you can check out their stages because they give me a similar vibe to their debut music and lots of people are saying its too artsy for it to be kpop (I tend to agree). i found out about this group recently and honestly OOO has the BEST discography in kpop. im a SVT fan so that's saying a lot, really. all their songs are good! those are songs that actually say something, not only noise and words being spilled. every song of them has a fully purpose in the album. i never felt that about a group like ever. 4 years after this video and those boys still don't have the recolonization they deserve. in the future people will say OOO was too ahead of their time.

Hey so they just had a comeback and again are promoting 2 songs, Sage (they're title track) and bOss. Sage shows a more powerful side to them and bOss a more sensual. Their debut song was so nice because it was so smooth and rb like but sage is more of what you expected with this. I wish you would react to their comeback please

PD's face while listening to Time Leap? Mine. I was confused by Savanah, as if I was listening to a song over a MV it didn't belong to (not that I didn't appreciate the song or the MV, especially after this reaction, but I prefer it in audio) and then thought I'd got the group confused with Time Leap. Just me, but it almost felt as if they haven't quite figured out where they're heading yet. I agree with PD that Savanah gives off a kind of NCT vibe while I got a JJCC vibe from the Time Leap MV. (Again, just me so please don't shoot me for voicing my own personal thought.) I'll be very interested to see where OnlyOneOf goes from here.
I didn’t know about this group but I sure do now. I love the juxtaposition of the music video and the song. I want to be in that man’s mind. I want to see how he thinks. He doesn’t think conventionally. That’s the only way he could create such an amazing concept.
