    The narrator has a great sense and voice for story telling. She narrates very well.

    OUTSTANDING VIDEO. The darkness of the video threw me off somehow; I thought it was my phone. As many times as a drove through Meriwhether County I never knew the true story of that situation till I seen the video.

    My book on the Wlson Turner case will be released in June. Much of it and the chapters featuring Mayhayley come from my grandfather's accounts. C. E. Miller was my grandfather and very involved in the Wallace investigation. He was sadly left out of Murder In Coweta County except for a passing mention or two. However, he knew both Wallace and Turner much better than Potts or Hancock ever did and was investigating both of them prior to the murder. He interviewed Mayhayley and was locked in the Witness room with her during the trial.

    The movie "Murder in Coweta County" is a classic and what brought me to your site. Your narrative is exceptional in that you keep a low keyed voice not giving over to high pitched hysterics or the "voice of doom" that too many other narrators use. l'm impressed with your research and recounting of the facts regarding these two people and the events of their lives. A thoroughly enjoyable corollary to a fine movie. Thanks.

      @10:36 I think that shack looks like an wonderful house lol. So many people would love to live in place like that instead of renting an apartment.
      But maybe shack was said because there's probably no running water, sewer, toilet, or electricity hooked up to it now and definitely not back then.😆

    I would love to see an in-depth video on the Case of Mary Phagan, the little white who was murdered in Atlanta, Georgia. She was found bludgeoned to death in the basement of a factory. A Jewish man who was her factory boss was accused and convicted of her murder even though the evidence was circumstantial. The Jewish man was dragged out jail by a lynch mob and hung for the murder. I would love see the location where the Jewish man was hung. I feel the narrator being from Georgia has inside knowledge of cases like this being that she is from Georgia.

      That's a puzzling and sad story.
      I wonder if it was the one they convicted, Leo Frank, the factory’s superintendent or if it really was done by Jim Conley the janitor all along?

    • @Coleknox67
      @Coleknox67 Před 8 dny

      @@DowntownJulieB Conley MIGHT have had something to do with it. My question is if Conley didn’t why did Conley put the “Boo Game” on his white co-worker to keep him quiet all those years? Why did the white worker wait till right before his death to make a deathbed confession? Why did the white co-worker just go to the police with the truth being that he was a white person that was part of “the status quo”? Did Conley really kill the white girl or was Conley being used as a henchman by the “white establishment” to put fear in Conley’s white co-worker to keep the white co-worker quiet? Why did the “white establishment” allow Conley to intimidate another white man in such a highly sensitive case?

    By the time I was born, my family was struggling to come up with names. I’m the youngest of four boys. They named me but my 3 older brothers pitched a fit over the name so my parents came up with another name. My first name came from my dad’s brother, who he respected immensely. Donald Wade, former head football coach of TN Tech University. My middle name came from the last name of a black man in Georgia, who my grandfather respected immensely. I don’t remember his first name but he was Mr. Brooks. Could it be this same family, no clue. I just found it interesting.
