You want to bench Eli in a lost season to see what you got in Davis Webb? Okay, that sucks for Eli and his streak, but that's a smart decision. Benching Eli and telling us all that Geno Smith gives you the best chance to win? Get the hell outta here.

MacAdoo was not right about Eli.
Eli was hung out to dry for the last 6 years of his career as trash coaches were brought in, his talent was stripped away, his o line was literally the worst in the NFL, and he STILL made the team competitive and put up wins and middle of the pack QB production numbers.
Eli could have easily played, produced, and won into 2020 or so. The belief that he was shot or outclassed by all other NFL quarterbacks is completely false.

After the third game they didn't have any WR's. The WR corp put together had a TOTAL of 12 NFL catches. Not TD's, -- CATCHES. Eli had to show them how to run routes. Sure in 2008 Eli had a pretty good team, but it was all Eli. Who were his WR's. Manningham came later, but he couldn't run routes. There was Steve Smith. That tall backup quarterback they had was the most terrible quarterback play I ever seen in my life.

They got the fancy Quarterback and the fancy running back and the fancy pass-catching tightend. They still struggled to score points.
Resources were spent. Judge didn't deserve a pass.

The Giants ownership is all about the Good Ol Boy Network when it comes to coaching. There is no diversity in their coaching staff. They keep going to the same well and expect different water.

When ownership is old enough to remember when hot dogs were a quarter and sodas were a nickle you can't expect them to have the faculties to hire a dogsitter let alone an NFL GM or a coach

All this doesn't matter when we have an owner that puts family in roles that decide which players get scouted and drafted the issue is the Mara's. They are like Jerry Jones without fhe public interviews, unless Tisch buys them out or they sell their portion of the team this will continue.
