It is simply a program that reflects on a celebrity's achievements in their career to date. A great honor for the celeb and a chance for the public to remember some of the things they have done. Must say I love that show, good to see it's back on our screens.

I know Simon has a heart. But I admire him and respect him for his honesty. He may be mean to people that perform for him but it's because he knows that being nice isn't going to get the message across. He's not afraid to be the bad guy and that's a GOOD quality it takes to manage singers, run businesses or even coach professional sports teams. He's a real motivator and I think criticism from Simon Cowell is the best motivation any performer could have. He tries to get people to do their very best and tries to send people who can't sing down the RIGHT path in their life. I once performed in front of him when I auditioned for Idol and he rejected me but it didn't make me hate him, I still respected him. He's cool!
