Best Christmas Stockings ever - the ones my very crafty and talented mother-in-law made for the kids. She made them unique for each child and also put their name on it. All are one of a kind never to be seen again!
I have used the Pottery Barn red velvet stockings with white trim for family members 17 years. The are called "Classic Velvet Stocking". I have been able to add on more of these over the years with having new pets and grandchildren . They seem to be a staple at Pottery Barn because they are so classic. They will go with all Christmas decor styles. So if you change your style year to year they will go with everything.They are also excellent quality and still look great!

Throughout the years we collected needlepoint stockings from Lands’ End. At first I had names embroidered but after our 2nd baby I changed and left all the stockings without names. My 4 kids always knew which one was theirs but could also switch if they wanted a different design (they never did). I like Lands’ End older styles better, but some of the new ones are cute. I also bought needlepoint stockings I found on ebay that were the same size/shape. Anyway, they look charming with a classic Christmas theme. We have another house to decorate now so I recently bought a huge mix of chunky knit stockings, all different styles and lengths. My theme for the new house is silver bells, sleigh bells, & cozy, chunky knits. ❤

WOW--tons of stuff. As far as Xmas stockings, my mother in law made us all stockings many years ago and that's what we put out every year. I see no need to change them, many memories.

To answer your question, when my husband and I moved in together, we got cute stockings from target and other stores. When I was younger my mom got our stockings from a craft show. I decorated it with fabric paint. She still has it 30 some years later.🥰🎄

Katie, Pottery Barn is your best bet. I bought the same Classic Velvet stocking 2 separate times over the course of 2 years over 7 years ago and they are exactly the same. I chose the script monogam on each one and its exactly the same. Every year since it remains the same to date. It's a bit pricey for a stocking but worth the investment. My stockings still look brand new and beautiful over the years 🎄🎅🏽
Grinch definitely! I decorate our family room downstairs with the grinch to keep it fun for our kids and separate from the traditional Christmas we do upstairs.

I get my Christmas stocking from target and they bring it back every single year, it’s like sweater material and doesn’t look cheap at all! they even have one that has paw prints embroidered which I got for our dogs! It was inexpensive and I thought the design was classic and timeless!😬🥰

We have the needlepoint stockings from Lands End, and they have new styles each year, but still needlepoint and embroidered with our names. We are adding our baby’s stocking this year. They are all different, but still match at the same time.

Lillian Vernon has the personalized stockings- I’ve purchase 9 over the course of the last 20 years as we added members of the family- they are well made and the 20 year old stockings look as new as the one I just purchased this year for the new grand baby.

You do realise with Hobby lobbys 50% off is a marketing ploy. The items are worth roughly the retail price with 50% discount. You are not getting a bargain ppl. If you're paying at full price its a rip off. People actually think its a bargain when they see 50% off. Worked in retail and marketing for 35 years. Don't be fooled.
