One of the things about this song is that it can feel different in different concerts and still be the same song. I love what he did with it later in his career, but this is always the quintessential live version IMO. Great reaction, too!

I got to see this tour in LA at the Fabulous Forum in late '86. Far and away the best concert experience of my life, and I've seen some great ones. I believe this Athens show was the final night of the long tour.

Of course he looked younger, last year he turned 70. You know, he and Genesis started in the late sixties. What might be the reason is that PG takes about 10 years to complete a new album while some bands put out an enormous amount of records. His last tour "Growing Up" he was bald, white beard and chubby. He said he was frustrated that not enough young artists are stepping up to continue the fight for change! For PG it was never about money, even though he made a lot, but I remember the "Secret world tour" where he proposed his stage ideas to a promoter and he said, yeah, €120.-- a ticket! " PG said," No Way! " and he got trades people from the neighborhood to build the whole shebang so that I paid €19.-- a ticket, 2 times😂

Thanks for doing this one. IMHO, it's one of the three. Athens, Secret World Live, and Growing Up Live (being my favourite, and having been there to see it performed live twice myself too!)
