Neva, when you went up to Ms. D about how you felt disrespected about her comments towards your eyebrows and other physical attributes. I can understand how that hurt you and I can appreciate the effort you put into trying to talk to her. At the same token, you've also thrown shade at her (remember mentioning Ms. D's past?) In life, the reality is, it doesn't matter 'who said' or 'who did' what first. It's about being the bigger person. You more than anybody should know how Ms. D is: she is a strong-willed, independent business women, mother, and coach. You can't change her. You can't control how she acts, she is an adult and so are you. Instead of being a reactive person, don't allow her comments to get to you. I won't judge you for leaving the last battle, but understand this, and put a different perspective on ya. When Ms. D wanted to address the issue with the remarks your girls were making during a battle. You had every right to leave, granted...but can you see how THAT made Ms. D feel? It felt as if your walking away from her and the situation at hand, it made it seem you couldn't handle it. When you show your back to someone that is a clear indication of body language that you don't care, its disrespectful , anybody can turn their back. How many people can confront a situation and effectively communicate with each with respect (despite how disrespectful you feel the other person is) As a leader, especially a coach it's important to teach your girls to find a resolution. You walking away avoiding the chance to clear things out THAT DAY with Ms. D, that very moment, I feel was a missed opportunity to talk things out. Ms. D may not always be the friendliest individual out there, she has her flaws...but so do you! -She speaks her mind, she's open and honest about her feelings, she's frank and doesn't sugar coat anything. So, to both teams, (Divas and Dolls) this has gotten a lil out of hand. Neva, not once have I heard you mention "Sorry' or any kind of sympathy or mutual understanding. Likewise with Ms. D. It may be that media is biased, and the show brings things to your disadvantage, but that just means you got to act smarter. Like any politicians your entitled to speak your mind, and free to say what you want; but in the eyes of the lens/camera you are not exempt of receiving the consequences.
