My personal favorite is the Bellroy Classic Backpack Plus. It fits a lot but is very very thing and compact when not loaded, it doesn't look too busy, it looks like a simple bag and has many compartments. It looks like a higher end classic backup with a lot of Organization.
I have cycled around towns and cities with the Rhake for the past year and it has become my Steady-Eddie companion for all I do. I really like the look and feel of this bag, and the many compartments does the trick for me. Crazy comfortable! ( the big front pocket is perfect for stuff like Kindle and Travelers Notebook, by the way) One gripe is that the waterproofness wears off because of the many seems, thus needing a yearly resupply of Nikwax to the outer shell.. Otherwise it is the sh#t in my book.
Big fan of your channel and all the reviews you do man, but nothing can beat a good old Bo Ismono backpack review video. More of this please. I'm just waiting for my Heimplanet monolith daypack to arrive soon. I decided to go for that one instead of the Evergoods cpl24, I hope I don't regret it :)
I love the look of the Monolith daypack. My Monolith Weekender arrived from Germany yesterday and I can't wait to test it out when I travel later this week.
You Bo, will soon need a backpack big enough to carry all your backpacks. Lol. The AER or Evergoods will definitely be on my, "if I ever need a EDC backpack" short list. Thanks for sharing. Peace.
Great video! I have this "weird" almost addiction to finding the perfect backpack. I've gone through so many backpacks, from 511, grey ghost to Vertx and now Citadel minimal pack. From packs that offer off body conceal carry to Tech packs. I've found some really good ones but no perfect one, yet. Lol.
I'm the same. But not finding the perfect bag or item is great. We all have different needs or different situations in which we need to pack differently. Would be boring just to have one bag that is perfect. Switching bags is a lot of fun and forces you to rethink your load out 😉
@@Youknowthebo I've gone through so many bags in my adult life ☺️ From deployment type bags, conceal carry bags, edc bags to now due to work tech bags. In my opinion the perfect would be, size and construction material of the Citadel minimalistic pack with the pocket style type of the Vertx EDC ready pack.
Hey mate! Thanks for stopping by! Mission workshop always makes some great stuff. the Moto barrage looks a bit big on me unfortunately. But you should check out the Velomacchi, it would look awesome on you. And once you test the harness system on a bike you don't want to wear another backpack with your motorcycle gear
Awesome video with good content mate, well done. For the purpose of doing a product review I wasn’t the biggest fan of fading the blacks as much as you did. But that’s just my personal preference, well done regardless 👍
Loving this channel and thank you for the lovely content. Any chance you might review the TAD Axiom 24? Would be great to hear your thoughts on that piece of gear. Keep up the great work
The Peloton is awesome. But it isn't in this list, because I only took a look at the bags that I reviewed within the last 18 months. If I wouldn't have limited the timeframe this list would have been way too long 😂
For all my videos I decided not to include links for the products. Everyone is living in different countries and therefore has to deal with different shipping and customs fees. That is why I would advice everyone just to Google the product within their country to find the best deals. For instance: I live in Germany, It wouldn’t make sense to give you a German link while you might be living in USA or Asia. I hope that is understandable.
Another great video. Became a Patreon member. Meant to do it awhile ago. your videos deserve a much wider audience. Look forward to the next video. One quick question, Are most of the bags available in europe, or have you to pay huge shipping and customs everytime you buy?
Hey Steven. You're awesome. Thank you very much for your support! Most of the bags are only available internationally. So you need to anticipate some shipping and custom fees :-( Which bag are you interested in?
@@Youknowthebo I actually like the look of the DAYFARER and I think that's available here? The blackember minimal looks interesting too. I'm using the Thule Accent 28ltr at the moment for my daypack but I think it's seems pretty small for 28ltr.
Heyy Bo great video as always, but here is a totally non bag related question but film making question/ suggestion, i realised you have always put matte bars on your video to give that cinematic crop. However, have you thought of just render the video to the dimension of your ideal crop so it would fit larger on people's screen who is not using fullscreen mode but just wide, cinema mode on youtube? just a suggestion... :)

Hi Bo, First of all, thank you for your very insightful / helpful videos. I think after watching your reviews and some other reviewer's reviews - I narrowed it down to the Rhake, MPL30 and ATD1. I'm leaning towards Rhake but I'm curious - how tall are you? I'm worried that these will all be huge on me as I am only 5'6". Just want to know so I can picture what these will look/feel like on me. Once again, thanks for your awesome reviews.
Thank you very much, Chuck! Really appreciate your longtime support. Some of the parts in this video are over a year old and might have a rather dark grading. Lighting black bags with just a small softbox is rather difficult, It's actually not always the grading. I'm planning to get a bigger softbox next year which should improve visibility of dark bags.
Just curious.. Do you prefer Able Carry Daily more or the Aer Tech Pack/Daypack more? I'm torn between the two.. I had tried Able Carry's Daily but not the Aer's.. I can fit almost all my daily carry into the Able Carry's Daily. Just wondering which would be a better choice for the price... Hope you could give me some advice please
