XP DEUS and Golden Mask 4 Pro depth test

- This is a quick test of the detection depth of XP DEUS (all factory programs) and Golden Mask 4 Pro with fixed and manual ground balance. The tested object is a 20 mm silver medallion. The soil is heavy mineralised. As you can see the detection of both detectors is on the edge. 20 cm (8 inches) for 20 mm silver is the limit in this soil. At 25 cm (10 inches) the detection is completely gone. A good tip for the DEUS is to check the ground mineralization index and set manually the ground balance a little bit (3-5) lower. This can give you an inch depth more. The same is with the analogue Golden Mask 4 Pro - set a proper manual ground balance and you will hit deeper. You can see that the detection of the Golden Mask 4 Pro is noticeably better in the manual ground balance mode.

The GM knocks the socks off the Deus spent 6/8 of video trying to get a repeatable signal with the Deus. Just turn on the GM4 in auto and one tone, setup time 5 secs better result than a detector costing three times as much
Hi if you have a gm like mine could you give me some advice on a using it in auto? am I doing right by starting like this and is there any advantage to manual?
Yes but it is nearly twice the weight ! I think they ar both good machines.
Hi I just started detecting and bought a gm4 pro 18khz..I was as a beginner going to use auto and I have an old private woods to test it on. Could anyone advise me on what good settings in auto mode might be?

Чёт деус с откликом хромает,или правее или левее,но точно не по верху находки.Маска точно бьет над находкой.
Эта цель возьмется как дети в школу. Пускай он на болотном очень сыром, пропитанным солями металлов грунте поработает. На моей практике все приборы сливались, кроме Дуси.

origin program are not good , its just confortability
sensi 98 , reactivity 2 , power 3 , discrimination 5 and silencer -1 on déus ! to 8 khz and 18 khz to terrains mineralisés .

I wouldn't have a deus as a gift, loads of better detectors around far better and far cheaper

Дело в том, что автор вообще его не настраивал, а деус этого не любит... :)

I take it your just using the basic programs.but that's not what the deus is about, you can get better depth with just a few simple steps so if your trying to say the golden masks better I think you'd better learn to use the deus properly first
pistolpete938 lol you've obviously never used a GM then, the DEUS is a very good machine but it's just not in the same league as a GM once you've used a GM you wouldn't go back!
