Yea, I also feel like their slowly falling apart, Nova going through a big change or something, like moving away for example and she cut her hair as a way to get rid of the past if that makes sense, mean while Annie is stuck in the past and obsessing over Nova and their friendship (maybe more?) and heading toward a darker path
