Another "one take" video!
As you know I don't overdub or correct this kind of vid.
I simply publish the take straight like it was recorded, with all the imperfections and mistakes.
I played this song like I normally do live with my band, so not like the record.
I used my own preset for AmpliTube (soon to be revealed on the complete review and shared if you like).
Guitar used is my Ferrari Red Special.

Brian May's rhythm playing is criminally underrated
How the hell is he underrated since he is known as one of the greatest guitarist and one of the member of one of the greatest band ever?
@@yaxization I just think they mean his rhythm guitar playing ability specifically doesn’t get talked about as much (as opposed to his solos/leads)
Brian doesn't play any of this, he barely plays the guitar on this song (not much more than the solo). It's the guy in the video who came up with it to replace the piano parts and he did a very good job.
@@MusicMan121nope, brian put a rhythm guitar in most of the queen songs that didn't have one when they played live. For example dont stop me now or somebody to love

Take away any part of Queen’s instrumentation; especially with “Don’t Stop Me Now” and the music just doesn’t sound right. I can honestly say that I think this song is one of the greatest songs in Queen’s discography. There’s a reason it’s one of their biggest hits...

The tone was perfect. I’m sure if I had the tracks to scrutinize against I’d find some subtle differences, but this is so close to 100% that if I didn’t have proof that it wasn’t Brian May I would swear that it was him.

This is so good I had to listen to it twice. I can’t help but think that Queen should have left the guitars in the mix on the album version, it’s so much better.
On a a side note, you really can tell that you practice and actually take the time to think about your playing. This really reflects in your superb performances. You have really studied Brian’s vibrato technique and it is bang on! A true inspiration. Keep up the good work.
