- Our Morocco Tour continues with our jroad trip to Ait Ben Haddou, a village, also known as “Ksar” in the Quarzazate region of Morocco. I believe that Ait Benhaddou is one of those secret places in Morocco that is a “must-see” as it is stunningly beautiful and a Unesco World Heritage site.
Ait Ben Haddou is located along the southern border of the High Atlas mountains, a place that you will hear about in every Morocco Travel Guide. Ait Benhaddou, a walled fortress also known as a Ksar, has been used as a film location for famous movies and TV shows such as Game of Thrones, the Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Prince of Persia, Son of God, Queen of the Desert, and many more.
